We had our very first guests this weekend! We left a nice welcome basket, and s’mores bucket to make them feel at home.
We received some excellent feedback from the guests, so I call that a win 🤗

Our son Gage is in charge of the firewood- so he wrote a nice note asking for donations toward his Cub Scout camp! 🏕️ His first summer job!!

We are sooooooo close! We are waiting for our photographer to come this Wednesday, and our water softener to be installed this week. We may not be able to rent for this weekend due to the water, but definitely starting the week after! I can’t believe we are almost done! What a relief 😮‍💨

We have been working feverishly to finish the Grain Bin rental for Memorial Day!!!!! 😃

We are taking a break from the Grain Bin Rental. We have to plant our Christmas trees before the rain comes this weekend. But don’t go away, we will be adding more pictures of our building progress next week!

We're back! We took a week off for Spring Break with our family and spent another week catching up on missed work. 😮‍💨 Now, we're working hard to finish our Grain Bin vacation rental, but progress is slow. We're focusing on cleaning, installing trim & light switch covers, and getting the water fixtures hooked up and working.

Next week we are hoping kitchen cabinets, countertops and living room furniture will be ready to bring over!

Here’s some trim pictures and the concrete bar top we are working on 😊 we tried something different by adding some broken glass… hope it looks cool!

We are The Jeskes, from the Northwoods of Wisconsin. About a year ago we started building a Grain Bin house with the intention of making it a vacation rental. We have been sharing our progress step by step hoping our audience would enjoy watching how things come together. We are finally able to see the light at the end of the tunnel! We would love it if you, your family and friends would check out and share our page. There are a ton of activities to do up here in the Northwoods, and we would love to share it all with you!

I think this my personal favorite part so far. Our acid-etched, heated concrete floor! After many hours of grinding and cleaning, then cleaning, oh and, cleaning again…. The floor is finished and stunning! See for yourself!

Here she is! Our beautiful tile shower. Big shout out to Dewey at Imperial Tile out of Summit Lake, WI for helping Robert tile!
