Good afternoon, just wanted to make a very quick post about the severe threat for Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center has increased the risk of severe weather for Madison County to an enhanced risk for tomorrow. All modes of severe weather are in play, including the risk of a long-lived, strong tornado. The greatest severe risk today would come late evening into the early overnight hours. The highest risk overall will come tomorrow afternoon. There will be additional details later but wanted to make this post. -Byron

With the below-freezing temps coming this weekend and the following week there are several steps you can take to lessen the chances of frozen and even cracked pipes.

Open your sink cabinet doors to allow warm air to circulate, and trickle both the hot and cold water to help keep your pipes from freezing and bursting. You can also look at adding extra foam insulation board behind them, pipe insulation tubes or wrapping heat tape around pipes in hard-to-heat areas, I hope this helps you. This job required a complete roofing overhaul and structural repair after a tree fell in a wind storm.

Rafters were cracked and the roof was impaled in multiple places. After the tree was removed we put all-weather patches over the damage and assisted the homeowners with the insurance claim and adjuster process. Once the claim process finished, structural and window work was completed and then finally, all shingles and damaged wood were removed and replaced in a single day!
