Good evening! Although school doesn't start until next week, RHJH had their first softball game today! So please bare with me and my crazy schedule.

It's wedding week for my son Caleb & Ashley!

So it's crazy busy Wedding Season and I will be leaving Wednesday.

Not only that I had a honeymoon couple leave today, one departing Saturday the 13th, a Bachelorette Girl's Trip on the 14th. More honeymoons July 15 & 27, plus a family trip departing on the 26th.

I am taking the time now to send out documents and final checks.

Please know I will not be sitting at a computer, and only if you need me in an emergency you can text me the next few days!

I am hoping that by tomorrow all will be taken care of so that you will not need me until next week ♥

Day 4

Today, you’ll leave Rwanda as we cross the border into Uganda, making our way to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is home to 618 bird species, 10 species of primates - including chimpanzees, and 95 different types of mammals. The route to your accommodation may feel like an unofficial safari. Keep a look out for African elephants, buffalo, hippos, warthogs, Nile crocodiles, leopards, spotted hyenas, lions and chimpanzees. Tonight, stay in a simple safari lodge within the park overlooking the Kazinga Channel.

Day 5

Wake up for another exciting day in Queen Elizabeth National Park with another 4x4 Game Drive. Be on the lookout for any sightings you may have missed yesterday, and if you’re really lucky, you might be able to spot leopards or lions.

This afternoon, you have the opportunity to see the park from a different perspective with an optional cruise down the Kazinga Channel, linking Lake Edward to Lake George. You’ll be joined by local guides who will fill you in on everything you could want to know about the landscape and the animals who live within it – be on the lookout for hippos basking on the shore, as well as crocodiles, herds of elephants and abundant bird life.

Welcome to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda since it gained independence in 1962. And though the past won't, and shouldn't, be forgotten, the future of Rwanda's tourism is looking bright thanks to its welcoming people, an abundance of lakes and the beautiful Virunga Mountains. Your adventure begins by meeting your fellow travelers and local leader at 6pm.

Is this trip right for you?

The sheer thrill in coming across a habituated group of gorillas, dominated by a great male silver back, in unbeatable. But please keep in mind that tracking gorillas in the dense forest can sometimes be wet, muddy and uncomfortable. The terrain is by no means easy either, so it can be pretty strenuous and often humid. You need to be prepared and fit enough to walk up to 4 hours up and down hill. A top tip is to pack some gardening gloves to assist in any up-hill climbs.
Camping in the Serengeti National Park with no barriers between you and the animals is amazing, but it's important to heed the safety advice of your leader. You'll be briefed on arrival.
This is an overland trip. That means you’ll be traveling with a group in a purpose-built vehicle, visiting remote communities, setting up your own tent (unless you’re on an Original or Comfort style trip), occasionally roughing it in the bush with no facilities, and getting the best possible views of the ‘Big Five’. While the trucks don’t have air conditioning, they do have sliding windows which let in the breeze and make it even easier to take spectacular snaps of the local wildlife.
As the early bird catches the worm, the early camper sights the animals. There will be many early starts either to make use of the better safari time or to beat the morning traffic on long travel days.

Physical rating

You'll need to be fit enough to trek to the location of your family of mountain gorillas. This may involve up to 5 hours of walking up and down hills, in hot and humid conditions and through tropical (and at times thick) foliage. There may be mud underfoot, which will make the trekking slippery. You will be provided with a walking stick and the option to hire a porter who can carry your day pack and assist you on the trek. If you do not hire a porter, you'll be expected to carry your own gear, including water and a rain jacket, as well as your camera equipment.

So tonight is the start of my busy summer travel season. Everything has been booked for a while, but now the fun starts!

Tonight I had clients depart for their Helsinki, Stockholm & Berlin trip to visit their foreign exchange students they have hosted and to attend a wedding.

Starting tonight through August 29 I people traveling. There is a graduation trip, family trips, a reception trip, a bacherlorette trip to the Riviera Maya, Cancun, 3 honeymoons a Viking River Cruise, Montego Bay, Jamaica & Riviera Maya, Cancun, MX 30th Anniversary Trip combined with 60th Birthdays Trip, Cousins Trip/60th Birthday, a family memorial trip, a Carnival Cruise and a couple finally returning to their favorite spot post COVID!

Tonight I had clients depart for their Helsinki, Stockholm & Berlin trip to visit a few of their foreign exchange students they have hosted and to attend a wedding.

Soon the one I am really excited for the Gorilla & East Africa Safari!
