Anchors Away is our 4 bedroom 2 bath, family friendly house on Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri!!! Sleeps 10 in 2 super cool bunk rooms with high quality xl mattresses, 1 king bed room and the queen room has an en suite with a full wall of windows that look out onto the lake. Both main bedrooms have Helix Midnight luxe mattresses. You’ll sleep goooood no matter what bed you choose! The private dock has kayaks, lily pad, paddle boat and SUPs. Dock has 2 sun loungers and a seating area along with a set of WetSteps to make getting in/out for swimming a breeze! Bring your boat or rent one for the stay. 2 super soft white sand areas that we call the beaches, one is up by the house and has a fire pit, the other is down by the dock and overlooks the water. To top it all off… theres a a hammock to sleep the day away in!
Inside: Wait to be WOW’d. Remodeled and ready for guests, our home has been meticulously curated for a family vacation stay. No detail overlooked. The centerpiece of the home is our Gathering Table. It seats all 10 guests comfortably to dine, play games or just talk. The deck, also, seats 10 people for meals or has quiet areas to sit and take in the quiet cove. The kitchen has everything you need and much more. Wait until you see the Beverage Bar….. because we drink more than just coffee at the lake!! Extras like Pac-Man machine, high chair, baby bath tub, pack-n-play, toys & lots of games (even sand buckets).
We are perfectly located right in the middle of the lake. All of the local attractions are not far from the house. One of the most popular eateries on the lake, Paradise Restaurant, is at the end of our little cove! Go by car or boat or PWC. Paradise and they have the cheapest marina gas on the lake!! 2 miles by water to Margaritaville, Red Heads, Shorty Pants, and Pappa Chubby’s. Over the hill by car is Frankie n Louie’s, Captain Ron’s, Bear Bottoms, Lake House 13 and The Cave. HahaTonka State Park is 20 minutes.
It’s such a fun lake!! Makes for a wonderful vacation!!

Papa Chubby's Lakeside Resort does weeknight specials. This is Thursday’s 🐟 🍤 So good!! They are open all year round now! Papa Chubby’s is only 2 miles by boat and 2.3 miles by car.

Beverage Bar ~ coffee isn’t the only beverage we cater to! Tea and hot coca supplied (even a Coca Latte machine available). A beverage fridge to keep the “sodas” chilled!

Back of a small cove that opens onto the main channel has crazy good advantages!! Close to open water but no wake!! Quiet 🤫 Floating for hours is our favorite!! There’s seating on the dock … 2 Sun loungers, a love seat and 2 cushion chairs. No flimsy ladder on our dock!! It’s easy to climb in and out with the water with our WetSteps.

Watch the sunrise from the sand 🌅 in the quiet cove. Look for our eagle that flies over hunting, momma duck swimming with her 10 ducklings or our blue heron who spends the day hoping from dock to dock. You can spy the fish jumping or the turtles sunbathing. It’s a relaxing kinda place to hangout!
