CENTRAL OREGON FIRE EVACUATION UPDATE:

All evacuation areas in Deschutes County have returned to “normal status,” including Mt. Bachelor, Sunriver Resort, LaPine State Park, and Newberry National Volcanic Monument.

Thank you again to all of the firefighters who have helped protect our communities and preserve the beauty of the region!

We can all work together to keep Central Oregon a beautiful and safe place to visit. Please be prepared, know before you go, and in the event of wildfires and Evacuation Notices are issued, respect all closures, local emergency management officials, and first responders.

We appreciate all of the firefighters who have worked around the clock to reduce and eliminate fire activity here in Central Oregon! Thank you for keeping locals and visitors safe, and for your work to keep Central Oregon beautiful for many years to come.
