Both living areas and all bedrooms are equipped with Smart

TVs, offering numerous WIFI channels and access to free movies, as well as the ability to securely log into your own internet subscriptions. In addition, each living room TV includes an easily accessible HDMI hook-up for your Apple TV, gaming console, or other device. You can enjoy canal and ocean views from the large dining table in the bright, open kitchen, which is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. For more family fun, enjoy one of the board or card games provided for your entertainment. Or, relax with a book from the Blue Marlin collection while enjoying ocean breezes on the outdoor swing overlooking the canal. You can even relax on the private floating dock that’s perfect for fishing or kayak access. Passed down from generation to generation, the low country shrimp boil is best enjoyed outdoors with friends. Cleanup is minimal if you skip plates and serve on paper-covered tables. Just drain the shrimp and pile high where everyone can dig in. Peel, eat and be merry.

Sunset Properties

We have a very exciting announcement for any guests staying with us between June 8th and August 24th. This year, we have partnered with an amazing program called Vacation Vittles! In collaboration with NC State’s Fork to Farmer project, Vacation Vittles offers guests locally grown produce from farmers in our area during their stay. Guests will have the ability to preorder produce bags & pick them up on check-in day. Each produce bag will include a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables and will contain enough produce to feed a family of four at least three servings for the week. If you're here on vacation...or even if you live here....if you've never experienced the Kindred Spirit Mailbox, you truly must put it high up on your to-do list! One of the best ways to experience the Kindred Spirit Mailbox & The Bird Island Reserve is through an interpretive walk. They are held every Wednesday in the summer at 8:30 AM and sponsored by an awesome group of volunteers: the Bird Island Stewards. Meet on the beach at the 40th St walkway prior to 8:30 AM on Wednesday. Bring skin protection, bug spray, and water. It will truly be a memorable experience for you. More info here:

The reverse floor plan provides 2 living rooms…ideal for multi-family vacations or a convenient way to give kids or teens their own entertainment space. Each living room offers a Smart TV with an easily accessible HDMI hook-up for your Apple TV or gaming console. A 3rd Smart TV is located in the king bedroom on the top floor. You can enjoy canal and ocean views from the large dining table in the bright, open kitchen, which is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. For more family fun, enjoy 1 of the board or card games provided for your entertainment. Or, relax with a book from the Blue Marlin collection while enjoying ocean breezes on the outdoor swing overlooking the canal. You can even fish from the private floating boat dock that's perfect for small watercraft. Additional amenities include flat screen TVs in all bedrooms, 2 DVD/blu-ray players, high speed WIFI internet access, pack & play crib, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, and a few beach chairs and sand/beach toys provided in the under house Guest storage shed.
