As much or as little as you like, but remember, you'll be sharing a small home so we'll be "close up and personal" -- but certainly, you'll have your privacy! The Neighborhood
We love everything about Sunset Beach! The pier offers fishing as well as a great perspective of the eco-system. Off season, from Sept thru May, the island is gorgeous, certainly quieter and the best kept secret! "Everything" starts up for the season from: Memorial Day ending Labor Day... daily yoga class at 8am - I believe it's $5.00...Wednesdays there is a 2 hour nature walk to Bird Island...and Sundays down by the pier, you can attend sunrise beach services. Across the inter-coastal and under the new bridge, plan to visit the Old Sunset Beach Swing Bridge, now a museum and interpretive center. Saturday's are transition days for the weekly rentals so plan on coming for a long weekend and miss that traffic!! Getting Around
Lots of walking, running - bring your bikes ( we have 1 to offer), skateboard or kayak and if you need to go off island, you'll have your car! Happily, no public transit:)
If you need to be picked up and taken back to the airport, we can do that for an additional $75. Other Things to Note
Kayak access to inlet and Sunset Beach waterfront park and wildlife boating access. Great local restaurants and shopping too. Educational tours at the Old Bridge Museum and Interpretative center opposite the Fire House. Respect us and our home, as we respect you. Be mindful of the island, the ocean and all creatures.
