A visit at any and every season will bring different birds, unexpected mammal sightings, exquisite scenery, and the perfect opportunity to exchange urban life for an immersion into nature’s beauty and serenity." ~ Jim Burns

Enjoy this visual journey of images captured throughout the years in Superior's Boyce Thompson Arboretum:

Heads up motorists traveling Highway 60!

Plan for frequent intermittent daytime lane restrictions lasting approximately 15 minutes on U.S. Highway 60 east of Superior, between milepost 227-231, for construction activities on the US 60, Queen Creek and Waterfall Canyon Bridges Replacement Project.

Full closures Tuesdays – Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. begin May 15

Starting May 15, full closures of U.S. Highway 60 will begin between Superior and Miami on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. for rock blasting. During the full closures of US 60, traffic will be detoured on state routes 77 and 177. Due to the roughly 75-mile length of this detour, drivers may want to consider planning travel before 9 a.m. and after 2 p.m.

ADOT is replacing the Queen Creek and Waterfall Canyon bridges located on the US 60 between mileposts 227 and 229.5, just east of Superior in Pinal County.

See the attached article for additional details:
