The house is on the beach; Surf City lifeguard stand is located on the beach in front of the house off S 2nd street IN Season June 18th, 2022, through Labor Day Monday. Take the private dune walkway to the beach; we include beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach badges. Rates and calendars are updated on this site. I Never advertise on Craig's List! I have no HomeAway or VRBO bookings in the 2023 or 2024 seasons not listed on those sites. I would never ask to have a wire transfer for payment. All rates quotes are complete and include taxes and fees. I pay a fee to Realtor to process and lease(s) in case one is used. Most rentals in 2022 and 2023 were made directly with the owner. The property offers direct access to Ocean thru a private walkway over the dune. The house is a single-family home. The house has Central A/C, gas heat, a fireplace, and two zones of baseboard heat. 2023 has new board Baton siding on the ground floor and an Updated Outdoor shower, plus two new split-level AC units on the ground floor and Top floor living spaces (the house has full Central AC for all rooms) 2022 has a new dune walkway with a bench to watch the sunrise. In 2020 a new central AC system was installed (split AC located on the top and ground floors to assist the central AC on hot days). In Jan 2017, the primary central heat/AC system was optimized, a thermostat was relocated between the 2nd and 3rd floors, and additional vents were added to the 2nd floor. 2018 had a new Natural gas boiler and two tankless water heaters installed. The house layout is reverse living and has a kitchen and living room with a beautiful ocean view on the 3rd floor and a 1/2 bath, renovated in Jan 2018. In Jan 2017, the 3rd floor was renovated with a new vaulted ceiling, additional ceiling fans, painting, and new carpets. A new kitchen with granite counters, hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. Comfortable living space freshly updated. Renovated Full Bath in 2016 with a large soaking tub and shower combo. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, and a laundry room on the 2nd floor. The blue room has a queen bed and two twin beds (trundle bed) with a baby changing table on the dresser, the Tan room with a Queen bed and a chair Tewin pull-out bed, and the Master bedroom with a private deck facing the ocean 1 King bed and one small chair twin pullout bed and for 2021 was updated with a new Anderson sliding door and window, 2015 a fully renovated master bathroom. First-floor bedroom - studio set up on the first floor with queen bed, twin daybed, and pull-out queen sofa (room sleeps up to 5). New for 2021 is a stackable LG Front loading Washer Natural Gas Dryer—New Maytag stainless steel dishwasher for 2020. A new Maytag 5 burner stove and convection oven were added in Fall of 2016. 2018 brought a new natural gas boiler and two tankless water heaters ( green natural gas energy). Beautiful views from three decks and two picnic tables. A new vinyl railing on the 3rd-floor deck facing the ocean. A new fiberglass deck for a small Sunset porch on the 3rd floor was installed. An outside shower with hot and cold water was updated in 2023. On this VRLBI page are many pictures of the house and three full Facebook videos of the Outside view of the house and beach and the entire inside of the property with views out windows. It is located near restaurants, miniature golf, a pharmacy, an ice cream store, a pizza parlor, a liquor store, food stores, parks, and other conveniences. No smoking, no pets ( No Exceptions). There is a $750 refundable security deposit. The weeks listed are only weeks not rented; the house only rents by the week in May thru September. We will rent weekends and holiday's Late October through early April. I only will rent by the week during the summer. Living in COVID-19 times, we have a longer changeover to clean, 3:00 PM check-in, and 10 AM check-out. The whole place is cleaned, and FDA-approved disinfectant is sprayed. You bring your sheets and towels, but we provide pillows, fresh comforters, and blankets between check-ins.
