Recap of our Alaskan cruise on the NCL Encore. We sailed in a jr. suite balcony stateroom from Seattle-Juneau-Skagway-Glacier Bay-Ketchikan-Victoria, BC and ended back in Seattle.

The ship and the stateroom were lovely. The jr suites have a bit of a bigger bathroom and come with some gifts left by the room stewards a couple days. We were on deck 14 and fairly centrally located. Deck 15 forward is the Observation Lounge and the buffet is on Deck 16, forward, so we were very close.

The excursions to choose from were plentiful and it was actually hard to make the choices. We were happy with the ones we chose. Time in port was short, that was the only real down side to the trip.

We packed for all kinds of weather, as it can change quickly, and we were glad we did. It was cloudy, misty, and wet, but still beautiful.

The main show on the Encore is Choir of Man and it is fantastic. If you sail and get a chance to see it, don't miss it! It had us singing and dancing and laughing, and they serve some lucky guests beer pre show on stage.
