🌊✨ Sadly, our week at Surfside has come to an end, but we're thrilled with everything we accomplished!

Here are some of the highlights:

✅ Installed **3 new ceiling fans** (2 at The Dance and 1 at Windswept)

✅ Moved the **gates to the backyard** at Windswept and Backyard Oasis for more space

✅ Laid down **new flooring** and added **floor electrical outlets** at Windswept

✅ Installed **new outdoor lights** at Windswept and The Dance, along with replacing lightbulbs in all homes

✅ Added **new outdoor fridges** at Windswept and Backyard Oasis

And let’s not forget about all those **trips to Walmart, Home Depot, and Costco**—we're basically on a first-name basis with the staff now! 😂

That's just the beginning of our week’s work! It’s been a productive time, and we can’t wait to see how these updates enhance our spaces. Here’s to new beginnings! 🌟🏡

🏖️ Exciting Updates for The Dance! 🌊✨

We’re thrilled to announce that our oceanfront home, The Dance, is getting a fabulous makeover with brand new flooring! 🎉🛠️

While it’s still a work in progress, we can’t wait for you to experience the fresh, modern look and feel of our beautiful first floor space very soon! The hardwood was taking a beating with the sand and hope the durable luxury vinyl plank flooring will be better for the beach.

🌞 Exciting News for Our Guests! 🌊🏖️

We're thrilled to share that we’re working on a fabulous new addition to our vacation rentals Windswept and Backyard Oasis: a stunning patio surrounding the pool and new finish and tile for the pool! Completed February 2025. New pergola at Backyard Oasis will be installed April or May.🎉✨

While it’s still a work in progress, we can’t wait for you to enjoy this new outdoor space soon!

This Veterans Day weekend, we at Windswept Beach Rentals invite our community to join us in honoring our veterans and showing appreciation for their sacrifices. 🦅

There will also be a FREE Veterans Day Celebration at Murrells Inlet American Legion Post 178. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate and honor our heroes!

Myrtle Beach’s Long Bay Symphony will present three concerts throughout the weekend to honor veterans with patriotic and military-themed music. Events are free for veterans or $10 for non-veterans.

It's been quite a whirlwind week in Surfside! We had an amazing time bonding with friends and family while taking care of some much-needed maintenance. To top it all off, we met with our favorite patio contractor to design a stunning new patio surrounding the pools at Windswept and Backyard Oasis. The installation is scheduled for January 2025, and we've already obtained and approved the necessary permits. I can't wait to share the plans with everyone – it will be an incredible addition!

During this week, we made sure to take care of a few things around the homes:
- At Windswept, we have a new washing machine and a new spa breaker box and panel.
- Over at Backyard Oasis, we installed a new dryer.
At Dance, we added a new dishwasher, outside electrical box, and breakers and completed the elevator maintenance.
- Surfside inspected the three new HVAC systems we installed this year. Both Windswept and The Dance now have all-new HVAC systems. Additionally, we installed two new water heaters at The Dance.

It's been a busy home maintenance season, but we want to ensure that our guests have the best experience possible! 😊
