We’re thrilled to share that **Windswept Beach Rentals** has donated a week from **September 27 to October 4, 2025** to the **Marine Corps League (MCL)**.

The MCL is currently selling tickets and will be raffling off this amazing week once they sell **300 tickets**!

The Marine Corps League works tirelessly to promote and preserve the traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps, strengthen the bond among Marines and their families, serve Marines and FMF Navy personnel, and encourage Americanism and volunteerism.

Your support makes a significant impact! All proceeds will go to the **Cape Fear Detachment Foundation**, which funds vital programs such as:
- College scholarships for local high school graduates
- Toys for Tots
- Young Marines of the MCL
- Support for wounded warriors
- Assistance for families of deceased Marines
- Help for families of Marines in need
- Support for homeless Marines
**Windswept Beach Rentals** has reserved the week of **September 27 to October 4, 2025, at Backyard Oasis**. The lucky winner will enjoy all costs covered for this week. But for current renters, you can keep your reservation and receive up to a **$2,000 discount**! Alternatively, the winner can choose any available week in 2025 at one of these properties: **Windswept A, Backyard Oasis, or The Dance - Oceanfront** with the same discount.

Horry County Enacts Burn Ban Until Further Notice!

We would like to inform our guests residing at our homes in Surfside Beach over the next few weeks that due to current weather conditions, Horry County Government has initiated a burn ban. As a result, the use of firepits is also prohibited during this time.

This ban will remain in effect until further notice. The ban has been initiated due to the extreme fire danger resulting from low relative humidity, dry and windy conditions. All outdoor burning, including permitted burns, is strictly prohibited during the ban, and those involved in any open burning would be in violation of the law.

Your safety is our priority, and we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this fire ban. For more information on the status of the burn ban, please visit horrycountysc.gov/departments/fire-rescue/.

🌊✨ Sadly, our week at Surfside has come to an end, but we're thrilled with everything we accomplished!

Here are some of the highlights:

✅ Installed **3 new ceiling fans** (2 at The Dance and 1 at Windswept)

✅ Moved the **gates to the backyard** at Windswept and Backyard Oasis for more space

✅ Laid down **new flooring** and added **floor electrical outlets** at Windswept

✅ Installed **new outdoor lights** at Windswept and The Dance, along with replacing lightbulbs in all homes

✅ Added **new outdoor fridges** at Windswept and Backyard Oasis

And let’s not forget about all those **trips to Walmart, Home Depot, and Costco**—we're basically on a first-name basis with the staff now! 😂

That's just the beginning of our week’s work! It’s been a productive time, and we can’t wait to see how these updates enhance our spaces. Here’s to new beginnings! 🌟🏡

🏖️ Exciting Updates for The Dance! 🌊✨

We’re thrilled to announce that our oceanfront home, The Dance, is getting a fabulous makeover with brand new flooring! 🎉🛠️

While it’s still a work in progress, we can’t wait for you to experience the fresh, modern look and feel of our beautiful first floor space very soon! The hardwood was taking a beating with the sand and hope the durable luxury vinyl plank flooring will be better for the beach.

We're thrilled to share that we’re working on a fabulous new addition to our vacation rentals Windswept and Backyard Oasis: a stunning patio surrounding the pool and new finish and tile for the pool! Completed February 2025. New pergola at Backyard Oasis will be installed April or May.🎉✨

While it’s still a work in progress, we can’t wait for you to enjoy this new outdoor space soon!
