Looking for some outside adventures??!! Crystal River Outfitters located in Glen Arbor offers up kayak rentals, e-bike rentals and don't miss the cool M-22 store nearby! A little something for everyone here! The beautiful Crystal River is a peaceful kayak trip (for added trills "shoot the tube"). Rent e-bikes and ride to Empire for lunch with a stop on the way back at Cherry Republic! 🍒
Looking to fill your PICNIC BASKET for a fun day at the beach or relaxing sunset retreat? I'd highly recommend stopping at Peninsula Provisions (just before the bridge in Lake Leelanau) for all your nibbles and sips! It's a super cute shop too!
Lake Ann Brewing (located just south of Traverse City) is a popular and quaint outdoor concert venue in a "courtyard" like setting from May - September. Grab a pizza next door at Stone Oven and relax at a picnic table or lawn chair for a fun music filled afternoon/evening!

Lake Leelanau (the village)...is worth a stop! This little bourg has lots to offer and worth a stop at some of these popular businesses and more!
Tandem Ciders - Suttons Bay is a must stop! Quaint place serving up some great ciders! Try what's on the menu or create your own blend. Every time we've stopped, we leave feeling more like a local than a tourist. Ten minute drive from Pineview Place! Highly recommend a visit!
Don't leave the house without your map...the Leelanau Wine Trail map that is!🤩 You can ride your bike from Pineview Place to #12 which is downtown Suttons Bay or head south on the Tart Trail to #5, #20, #15, #9, #18. So many fantastic options! 🍷
Check out two beautiful dune hikes with Lake Michigan overlooks! Houdek Dune Trail is north of Leland and Pyramid Point Trail is just south of Glen Arbor in the Sleeping Bear Dune National Park (referred to as a hidden gem by Good Morning America). So many beautiful hikes to explore in Leelanau County!

Tucked in the charming area of Lake Leelanau is Nittolo's! A "speak ease" feel inside with fantastic food and service! We have enjoyed a number of menu items and been very pleased. In the summer time, the outdoor patio is a great place to dine as well.

The Mill in Glen Arbor is not your ordinary coffee/sandwich shop! We enjoyed "stepping back in time" this summer admiring the craftsmanship of the "big white building" and grabbing an artisan sandwich to enjoy on the deck overlooking the Crystal River that loops around the mill. Back in the day, the river dam was opened so water could rush over the waterwheels and turn stones to grind wheat into flour. About 5 years ago, Turner Booth, a NYC Attorney that summered with his grandparents at The Homestead Resort had a restoration vision. Built in 1879 by Thomas Kelderhouse, 4 original milling machines are still in place. A shout out to our favorite Suttons Bay sandwich shop - Lylah's! Artisan style, unique combination sammies! A short bike ride from Pineview Place, just off the Tart Trail. Patio and inside dining. A great stop!
Herman Park - an amazing Suttons Bay Community Resource and about 1 Mile north of Pineview Place! Ride your bike to the park to enjoy the new Pickleball courts plus Disc Golf, Tennis Courts and walking trails!
AUG 12-16 is available to stay! Grab your pet or just watch all the fun in NORTHPORT, MI next weekend! Northport is just 12 miles north of Suttons Bay, a charming and historical coastal town with a nice marina walk-way, beach, shops and cool restaurants including "Around the Corner" and their outdoor movies! I'd highly recommend spending some time at the Historical Museum - rich with interesting history - did you know that Chief Peter Waukazoo & Reverend George Smith moved the Ottawa Mission from present-day Holland up to the Leelanau Peninsula, by boat and canoe!
Mitten Brewing - Northport! There is alot to love about this little coastal town (north of Suttons Bay about 12 Miles) and Mitten Brews and Pizza is one of them! Enjoyed good company and a wood fire pizza outside.
Bring your golf clubs, pickle ball and/or tennis rackets, disc golf and more! A few fun places (within 2 miles) to check out while staying at Pineview Place include Bayle (pronounced Bay-lee) Farms Golf Course. Herman Park has beautiful new courts, walking path around a pond with fishing deck and a disc golf course. Suttons Bay Elementary is right across the street from Herman Park and offers several play ground amenities for the littles too! 😍
The "Festival" season has begun! Rode bikes from Glen Arbor to Empire to celebrate Asparagus...who knew you could make Asparagus Ice Cream, Pierogies, Tacos and more! Check out the list of upcoming festivals/events...we've got a place for you to stay!!
Woot Woot...the interior is completed! Working on finishing touches outside and landscaping in the next week. We'll be ready for guests by Memorial Weekend! Anyone interested in staying here and exploring Leelanau County?
A fun shout out to Forty-Five North Vineyard & Winery! Less than 10 minutes from Pineview Place! We loved the hike through the orchards, standing pines and vineyards. The cherry blossoms where picture perfect! We'll be back to enjoy another hike and alittle relaxation on that charming deck!
Trim is a home's "jewelry"! So excited to share how some of our decorative elements are coming together. Knotty Pine doors and trim, black iron decorate accents for an up north feel. Mike is working hard to make such a special place!
