Join the neighborhood today!

Our version of “minute to win it” is always fun. Tripp has found his calling. 👏🤩

We’ve expanded the traditional start of our day together by rotating members through the new job of “town crier”. “Hear ye, hear ye! What day is it?”

We LOVE using our skills to help others! Today we spent 2 hours together packing meals to feed starving people with Feed My Starving Children at Christ the King Lutheran Church. We had 36 members, families and volunteers with The Next Stop at our mobile pack session today. Together we made enough meals to feed 67 children for a year!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

And finally, after voting and singing our way through the brackets, Thursday’s group crowned this song as their champion. So… we had winners this week from all Christmas song genres— an oldie goldie, a religious carol and a song we love to enjoy with children!🎄🌟🎅🏻

And Wednesday’s group chose a more traditional Christmas carol as the champion!

Each Next Stop day used a sports bracket system to narrow down to their favorite Christmas song. Tuesday chose a song released 65 years ago and unbeknownst to them, finally hit number 1 on the Billboard’s Hot 100 hits this month! Happy for you Brenda Lee!

Although we are all unique individuals, we are connected by our similarities. Led by music therapist Ms. Miquel, we proved it by creating our own web of things we have in common. 🤗

We had a small but mighty group today enjoying their Fit Frenzy workout. Fifteen of TNS members are off enjoying a beach, Universal, attending camp or visiting family. It’s summertime! 🌞

What happens when the music really moves you? You jump up, join the musicians and become a part of the entertainment! Thanks for all the fun Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Bill …. AND Ian!👏🎤🎸🪘👏

Name That Tune is a hit with this group! And so much fun 🤗

The Next Stop’s performance of “Believe” featured member Corbin on the flute playing “Silent Night”. Yes, he has quite the talent as he’s known for his bagpipe playing! A wonderful evening—more photos to come. 🤗
