As you know, the summer ministry season is our busiest time of the year with hundreds of people onsite each day. We are looking for team members who love to have fun and make an impact as they live out their faith in service to others. Each summer we employ around 70 young people to staff our camps at Pilgrim Pines. Our summer staff is well cared for, compensated and housing & meals are provided. Life and leadership skills are developed and many find their camp experience to be very formative in the years that follow.
I would ask you to please think about the young people (older high school & college aged) in your circles and churches and please get the word out. Spending time working at a christian summer camp is great work!
Current open positions include: Camp Counselors, Worship Leaders & Program Staff, Food Service Staff, Tech, Lifeguards & more.

Summer employment opportunity!
We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated individual to join our team as a seasonal food service chef. You will be responsible for prepping & cooking in our modern and clean kitchen. Menus and ordering will be taken care of. You will be serving in a beautiful youth camp setting surrounded with great support. The ministry of Pilgrim Pines had so much to celebrate in 2024, and we thank you for your participation. Thanks for coming to Family Camp, sending your child to Camp Squanto, or attending a retreat. Thanks to those who helped during a work weekend or volunteered with a special project or made a donation. We are grateful to our Pilgrim Pines family.

As we reflect on the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, on a silent night over 2000 years ago, we are reminded that His ministry is the core of everything, we do here at camp.

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is CHRIST the LORD!" - Luke 2:11 (ESV)

Facilities Housekeeping Assistant

Job Objective: The facilities housekeeping assistant works with our staff team to keep our camp facilities clean and welcoming for our guests and campers. This position works closely with the Facility Director and Guest Services Coordinator.

Essential functions and responsibilities: Camp housekeeping ensures camp is welcoming and safe through cleanliness, safety and appearance of the guest rooms, common areas and overall facility.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas of camp property to meet standards of cleanliness in accordance with cleaning checklists and using required safety measures.
- Replenish products and supplies as needed.
- Assist with set-up before and tear-down after guest and user groups.
- Record and report necessary repairs and supplies needed.
- Work as a member of the camp staff team.
- Maintain effective communication with administrative camp staff.

This position is part time for the school year and may move to full time for the summer months. This is an hourly position, 24ish daytime hours per week. This position is ideal for an active person who enjoys interacting with people in a fun, camp setting.

We are excited to announce our speaker for Winterfest 2025 is our good friend Joel Brand! Joel is a former Covenant Youth Pastor at Winnetka Covenant in Illinois and Excelsior Covenant in Minnesota. He currently works for a Christian non-profit called TreeHouse that offers peer support groups for teens in Minnetonka, Minnesota. But more importantly, he was a Pilgrim Pines Intern and Mayflower Summer Staff member in 2014. He is so excited to come back to a place he knows and loves and he wants YOU to be there, if you are reading this!
