I’m impressed with National Geographic Journeys. Their guides have been fantastic. Yuri, our CEO (Chief Experience Officer) clearly loves his job and has done a great job managing the small group. Our day guides, Paolo and Pepe shared their wealth of knowledge and love for Peru.

Seriously though, my husband got sick before the flight to Cusco. He stayed behind in Lima and is now on the mend after a visit with the doctor and some good meds. I miss him, but at least we’re not stressed about the added costs!

Here’s a Polaroid photo taken front of Trevi Fountain in Rome last fall. What fountain you say? Haha.
I display it by my desk because the €5 I spent on it was worth it for a funny story. Sometimes I’m happy to support the local grifters for a great memory.
