Are you "Team Let It Snow" or "Team No Snow?" ☃️ Either way, forecasts are calling for winter weather in our region Friday through Saturday. 🌨️ Here's how you can prepare for travel and adventure to and within our mountains. 👇🏻
1 - Check the Weather 🏔️
Stay updated with the latest weather forecasts before heading out. Snow can accumulate quickly in the mountains, so preparation is key.

2 - Pack Emergency Supplies 🛠️
Carry a winter survival kit in your car, including blankets, food, water and a flashlight. Don’t forget tire chains for steep or icy roads.

3 - Dress in Layers 🧥
Mountain temperatures can be unpredictable. Wear moisture-wicking layers, insulated outerwear and waterproof boots to stay warm and dry.

4 - Be Road-Ready 🚗
Check your vehicle’s antifreeze, battery and wipers. Ensure you have a full tank of gas and use caution on winding mountain roads.

5 - Plan for Hiking or Exploring 🥾
If hiking or visiting waterfalls, bring sturdy footwear with good traction and avoid icy paths. Always let someone know your plans.

Stay safe and enjoy the winter wonderland responsibly! ❄️
