We recently added an option to rent both suites together. This makes a beautiful option for family reunions. Our first customers booked the 4th of July week for 12 adults and two kids. They are maxing out the property capacity, but have a beautiful venue for a family gathering.

Thank you for loaning us a beautiful watercolor of the “Ivar Foss”. I hung it so it can look out towards the Foss Waterway across Commencement Bay from us. We will remember your dad, whose painting this was, as we gather for future family gatherings.

I stayed at the Captain’s House last weekend while in town for a dog show in Puyallup. It was such a treat to have a quiet, peaceful retreat for me and the dogs to rest and relax. We even hosted dinner for a few friends. Check out the morning fog, afternoon sunsets! Our hosts even put the chair and couch covers on so the dogs could snuggle with me. Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome in the lower suite!

We are taking some time to enjoy the sunshine in San Diego.

Unfortunately San Diego didn’t get the message, and we have brought some of Seattle with us.
