Great Hiking and biking trails are nearby as well as the Nature Conservancy's largest preserve in the Ozarks. Downtown Tahlequah is a short ten-minute drive where there are a variety of unique boutiques, antique shops and dining opportunities. Northeastern State University has a beautiful campus in town. The Cherokee National Heritage Center, Capital building and many other historical sites are located in and around Tahlequah.
