Talkeetna is a tiny town with a relatively brief history, but it’s a buzzing hub of activity in the shadow of Mount Denali.
The Talkeetna Brewfest is back! Save the date, one month from now, Saturday September 17th from 2pm-6pm in Talkeetna at the Denali Education Center building (formerly Northern Susitna Institute). The Talkeetna Brewfest is a fundraiser for Denali Education Center and Brewers Guild of Alaska. The festival is taking place at D.E.C.’s Talkeetna location, which is just two blocks from the Sheldon arts hanger where the festival has been in the past. 22510 S. Talkeetna Spur Rd. There will be around 20 Alaska breweries in attendance bringing all their favorite local beers! There is also a concert at the Sheldon Community Arts hanger later in the evening for those that want to keep the party going.
