Top of the World tour
Only 3 days left this season for our high altitude Top of the World tour! This is our adventure tour which may get you above 20,000ft requiring the use of supplemental oxygen. If you don’t plan on climbing Denali, this the best way to get up close and personal to the highest peak in North America.
Fall colors tour
It’s peak leaf week, our absolute favorite time of the year to go flying! The foliage doesn’t last very long, historically a few days to a week at most. Book your fall colors tour before they are gone. 🍂🍁
Talkeetna, Alaska
We sure love our home base of Talkeetna nestled in the shadow of Denali where the rivers meet. It’s especially picturesque in the fall. Do you have any memories from our quaint little town?
Peak Leaf Week
We’re anticipating peak foliage next week! The best week to fly the whole year is when all the trees change seasons in the valley! It’s brief but spectacular. Book your seats during peak leaf week. 🍂
Pika Glacier landing
Otter party at the Pika glacier! Have you added a glacier landing onto your summer flightseeing tour? Historically, we stop offering glacier landings sometime in October as the conditions become too cold and snowy!
30% club
The scale of the Alaska Range sure makes you feel small, especially when compared to the largest peak in North America! Are you part of the 30% club that has seen Denali?
Knik Glacier Tour
Some days the Alaska Range is unavailable due to weather but don’t fret, we have an alternative available. If it’s your goal to witness majestic peaks and glaciers in Alaska, we have you covered on our Knik glacier tour. Soar above the towering peaks and glaciers of the Chugach Range.
Winter is coming
Termination dust is starting to creep down the mountains, nature’s reminder that winter is on its way.
National Aviation Day
Yesterday was National Aviation Day enacted in 1939 by President Roosevelt to commemorate Orville Wright’s birthday. We celebrate every day by sharing our passion for aviation and Alaska. How has aviation impacted your life?

Vietnam Vet glacier landing
The Vietnam Vets of the 18th and 54th aviation companies that flew some of our Otters in the Vietnam War had a wonderful experience on the glacier Monday. We kept our fingers crossed that the long stretch of rain would end and we would be able to fly them in 4KT, the plane they flew. That morning we woke up to more rain and fog, but by the 6:30pm flight round, we had spectacular views of Denali and the weather was perfect for glacier landings! What a special day with plenty of joy and big smiles to go around.
Top of the World Tour
Have you experienced our Top of the World tour? This is our adventure tour, which may get you above 20,000ft, requiring oxygen for up to a half hour. If you don’t plan on climbing Denali, our Top of the World Tour is the best way to get up close and personal with the summit. You may even see climbers at the top during climbing season.
Pika Glacier
Have you ever played in the snow in August? Add on a glacier landing for some summertime fun in the snow. Can you name this location?
Pika Glacier
Landing at Pika glacier. Have you added a glacier landing onto your summer flightseeing tour?
Aerial view of Alaska Range
The views were dramatic this morning on our Denali Experience with glacier landing. Clouds in the Alaska Range make for some incredibly dynamic views and really helps to show the scale of the vast landscape.
We had a blast shooting with Princess Cruises last week and the weather could not have been better!
Every seat is a window seat ✈️
Every seat here at K2 is a window seat and our office views are unmatched. Come fly with us on this beautiful weather day ✈️
Sometimes weather in the Alaska Range makes Denali unavailable, but don’t fret! If your goal is to see mountains and glaciers, our Knik glacier flight-seeing tour is a great alternative!
0KT got a 4 blade prop upgrade early this season! What do you think the benefits are for a 4 blade prop vs a 3 blade prop?
Climbing season has been over for a couple weeks, but here are some views from when the season was in full swing. Here you can see a climber skiing down the top of Denali, some making their way to the summit, and a group on the very top of North America. Interested in seeing climbers on the mountain? Book our top of the world tour during climbing season!
