Royal Caribbean was amazing. The kitchen staff struggled a little with my daughter’s food allergies (communication with each other was a struggle, but eventually they always figured it out & she was provided great options & safe food eventually.) this was on Radiance of the Seas. When we went on Freedom of the Seas we had no problem & were blown away with the service & options for her. This time they just seemed confused & took a while to figure it out even though we always preordered the day before.

I enjoyed zip lining & rafting in the crystal caves in Belize.

Do not sign up to pet & hold moneys & sloths in Roatan, Honduras. It is now illegal to touch them or feed them. So we changed 2 of our excursions at the last minute & neither were as much fun as we thought we would’ve had if we were able to do what we originally paid for. Also the water park in Cozumel only had 1 open water slide.

Our travel agent always does well. This is the first time we had trouble with my daughter’s food allergies & with changing our excursions due to local laws changing. Also we were a bit disappointed in the water park. However, over all it was an amazing vacation. We still had fun at every port. Belize was my favorite.

Is Epic Universe at Universal on your wish list? Call me to book your reservation!

Here's some info from a travel agent who got to experience it before it opens next month...

For starters, please inform your clients that this park offers fewer activities for children. Ride minimums are of 48" and there are only 3 rides that cater to kids smaller than this. Plus a kid play area at the Isle of Berk.
Food is fantastic throughout the park, and it is a step forward from Universal's notorious theme park, one-size-fits-all food. We got to try the food at Le Gobelet Noir, which is inside The Wizarding World.
Now, for each Universe:
• Isle of Berk: it is a-mazing!! The videos on social media are brief, highlighting the fantastic aspects of this area. From the immersive decor to the character interactions, everything is on point with the movies. Rides are 10/10 in this area, and the show is fantastic as well. Hiccup's Wing Gliders was very good, and I felt it went a little faster than Hagrid's. If you want to earn extra points with your clients, recommend that they do this ride at sunset. The thing I liked the most is that, other than Hiccup and Toothless, the characters roam the land and interact with the guests.
The Wizarding World: as a Harry Potter fan myself, this Universe left me wanting more. They only have one ride, which unfortunately I didn't get to ride, and one show. The show is amazing and more than what I expected. Both restaurants are beautiful, and the food is good there as well. They have multiple stores and interactive windows for the wands.
Universal's Classic Monsters: The area has a good theme, but lacks something to keep you there exploring. I was not able to ride the Frankenstein, which is their main ride.
Nintendo World: a very chaotic area. I recommend that clients visit this area first, as it is the most popular. Wait times exceeded an hour, and the park was still not at full capacity. The land is very interactive, but to interact with everything, you need to buy a power-up band and collect coins through the land as if you were in a video game. Yoshi's Adventure is a slow and unenjoyable ride. Picture it's a Small World and Cat in the Hat, but even slower and an even more annoying song. Mario Kart is a chaotic ride that's perfect for those who enjoy competitions, much like a Men in Black or Toy Story experience. The riders will need to put on glasses. Unfortunately, the main ride from this land was also down again, so I was unable to experience it.
For the park, I highly suggest express passes. Most, if not all, the queue lines are under shade and well-ventilated. However, I would not wait more than 40 minutes for the different rides, except for the three main rides. Drinks and food are a step up, so your foodie clients will appreciate the offerings at this park. Nighttime is also breathtaking, especially standing in front of the Helios hotel.

Also, staying at Helios was worth every penny! Having that dedicated entrance & being able to walk just a few hundred feet from the hotel door to the park entrance was incredible!!
