Day 5. Cairo and Alexandria Escape. On this day, we visited an essence oils shop, Ramesses II statues in Memphis, the treasures of Saqqara, and a hand made carpet shop. Saqqara is a huge archeological site, with temples, pyramids and tombs. You can also spot the pyramids of Giza from there. We also had a chance to enter a pyramid again in which the sarcophagus is still intact.

Day 5. Cairo and Alexandria Escape. After arriving to Cairo from Alexandria, we visited a place that specializes in essence oils. They explained to us the process of extraction and the multiple uses of them. We all bought at least a box of four bottles. Our tour guide had a very hard time getting us out of there. 😂🤩

Day 4. Alexandria Highlights: Montazah Garden, Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, that commemorates the ancient Library of Alexandria.
Our guide took us to eat authentic Egyptian food in a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
