We sailed on Margaritaville’s Paradise out of Palm Beach in 2023 using their Heroes program, as my husband and I were both in public education at the time. They’ve been running some great promos lately and now have another ship, the Islander, sailing out of Tampa. As locals to Tampa, we decided to check out what Heroes deals were available and found a 5 night cruise to Mexico for the 3 of us that only cost us port fees and taxes, which were less than $500.

That’s not a typo- we booked a cruise for 5 nights for 3 people for under $500 with their Heroes program, which can be used by employees in healthcare fields, military, first responders, and educators.

The deal was so good that after booking I decided to upgrade our room to a Balcony stateroom- for a total of $112!

This plug-in fridge/freezer is a game changer. I originally bought it because it was recommended by fellow Tesla drivers as a fridge that fits in our subtrunk and is great for road trips. But we have used it for so much more since getting it in July.

We’ve used it for keeping snacks and drinks cold during road trips. We used it at our daughter’s birthday party at the park as a cooler with no ice plugged into the pavillion’s outlet. When we were moving I used it to transport frozen and refrigerated items from one house to another without worrying about them thawing or melting. I use headphones when traveling, have an iPhone with wireless charging, and wear an Apple Watch. This charging pad has been a game changer for me when trying to pack my charging items for travel. This single device can charge all 3 of my key items and works so well. I bought this for my recent trip to France and it is absolutely amazing. It has lockable compartments to help prevent theft in crowded areas, has a sleeve big enough for a small laptop or iPad, and a super spacious pocket for a water bottle. In March I went to France and during that time of year it can be chilly and wet. I ordered these water-resistant lined leggings and they are so fabulous.
