Belize rainforest cave tubing and xunantunich Mayan ruins is offered as a Belize Private Tour. This means that you will not be joined by any other groups. Xunantunich and Cave Tubing includes a drive from central Belize to near the western border with Guatemala. As you head to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, the history of Belize and its people are being narrated to you by your private tour guide. You will be driving through the twin Towns of Santa Elena and San Ignacio.About 20 minutes leaving San Ignacio Town, you will arrive at a hand cranked ferry that connects the Western Highway to Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve. After crossing the ferry, we drive 3 minutes to the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. Upon your arrival, you will have a short restroom break. After the break you will begin the tour of the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. This where the History of Xunantunich is presented to you. Your private tour guide will also explain the significance of each building. The tour of the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich last approximately an hour.
After the tour of the Mayan Ruins you will drive 20 minutes to a local restaurant where you will be served a local dish of rice and beans with chicken. Ater lunch you will drive approximately 40 minutes to Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve where the cave tubing is done. Upon your arrival you will be issued with a life vest, headlamps, and inner tubes. You will then start a hike on a jungle trek to the entrance of the caves. As you hike to the caves, your private tour guide will be doing presentation on Medicinal Plants and Belize Cave Systems. As we drive we will be narrating the history of Belize and it’s people.When we arrive at the zipline site we will have a short restroom break. After the break we will gear you up for the zipline tour. You will be zipping through the canopy of Belize’s rain forest for approximately an hour. You will also be zipping across a river. After the zipline tour you will be issued with a life vest, a inner tube, and a headlamp. We will then start a 15 minutes hike to the entrance of the caves. As we hike we will be doing presentations on fauna, flora, and the use of the caves to the Mayan people.

Belize cave kayaking is designed to last approximately 4 hours. This include a 30 minutes hike through the rainforest to the entrance of the cave system known as Jaguar Paw Cave. Before you board your kayak, you will be instructed by your tour guide about what you can and cannot do. As you kayak through the caves, your tour guide will be pointing out formations in the caves. If time permits, you may get the chance to explore some the cavers in the caves. The kayaking through the caves last approximately 2.5 hours. This package is offered to visitors staying in Belize City area, Ambergris Caye, San Pedro, Caye Caulker, San Ignacio, Belmopan, and Placencia. This package includes a 40 minute drive from Belize City to the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha. As we drive to to the ruins, we will be narrating the History of Belize and it’s people. We will also be pointing out sites of interest. When we arrive at the ruins, we will have a short restroom break. After the break we will start the tour of the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha. Whilst doing the tour of the ruins, we will be doing presentations on Medicinal Plants, Mayan History, and The History of Altun Ha Mayan Ruins. The tour of the ruins last approximately an hour.
After the tour of the ruins, we will have another restroom break. After the break we will drive an hour to the zipline site. When we arrive at the zipline site, you will be geared up for the zipline tour. We will be zipping through the canopy of the rainforest for approximately an hour. We will also be zipping over the Sibun river, on which we will be doing the cave tubing.
After the zipline canopy tour, you will be served with a local dish of rice and red kidney beans with chicken. This is served with a soda. After lunch you will have to change into swimming gears and use the restroom. After the break you will be issued with a life vest, headlamp, helmet, and an inner tube. Now that you are issued with your tubing gears, we start a 20 minute hike through the rain forest to the entrance of the caves. As we hike to the entrance of the caves, we will be doing presentations in Fauna, Flora, and Use of The Caves To The Mayan People. When we arrive at the entrance of the caves, you will be instructed about what you can and cannot do. We will now assist you getting on your tubes. This is for safety reasons because
Xunantunich Cave Tubing Zipline is designed to be a full day package. It includes a 2 hours drive from Belize City. As we drive we will be narrating the history of Belize. We will also be driving through the twin Towns of Santa Elena and San Ignacio. About 20 minutes drive leaving San Ignacio, we arrive at the Hand Cranked ferry to cross the Makal River. After crossing the river, we drive 3 minutes to the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. When we arrive at the ruins we will have a short rest room break. After the break we will start the tour of the ruins. The tour of the ruins last an hour. Whilst doing the tour of the ruins, we will be doing presentations on Medicinal Plants, Ecology, Indian History, and History of Xunantunich Mayan, Ruins.
After the ruins, we will drive 40 minutes to the zipline site. We will have another short break. After the break, you will be geared up for the thrilling zipline tour. You will be zipping approximately 40 mph through the canopy of Belize’s rain forest. You will be zipping over the same river on which the cave tubing is done. The zipline part of this package last approximately an hour.
After the zipline tour, you will be served with a local of rice and beans with chicken with a soda.
After lunch you will be issued with a life vest, a headlamp, helmet, and an inner tube. We will then start a 15 minute hike to the caves. When we arrive at the entrance of the caves, you will be instructed on what to do and not to do.
Now it’s time to relax and be refreshed by fresh spring water from the mountains by which the river is fed. You will now relax on your inner tubes as you are being towed ( you don’t need to paddle, we do that for you ). As you are being towed we will be pointing out formations in the caves. When we exit the caves we will be doing 10 minutes of open river tubing back to our starting point. The entire cave tubing tour last 1.5 hours. After the tubing tour you will be driven back to where you were picked up.

Xunantunich and Cave Tubing is offered as a Belize Private Tour. This means that you will not be joined by any other groups. Xunantunich and Cave Tubing includes a drive from central Belize to near the western border with Guatemala. As you head to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, the history of Belize and its people are being narrated to you by your private tour guide. You will be driving through the twin Towns of Santa Elena and San Ignacio.About 20 minutes leaving San Ignacio Town, you will arrive at a hand cranked ferry that connects the Western Highway to Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve. After crossing the ferry, we drive 3 minutes to the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. Upon your arrival, you will have a short restroom break. After the break you will begin the tour of the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich. This where the History of Xunantunich is presented to you. After the tour of the Mayan Ruins you will drive 20 minutes to a local restaurant where you will be served a local dish of rice and beans with chicken. Ater lunch you will drive approximately 40 minutes to Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve where the cave tubing is done.
