🥳 It’s Mickey Mouse’s birthday! 🥳

This mouse has created my fondest memories, brought wonderful people into my life, been the coolest boss I’ll ever have, taken me across the country and out to sea, and been my #1 guy during visits for nearly 25 years now!

👋🏻 Last day.. we disembarked the Disney Fantasy and stopped at Disney World heading home! 👋🏻

One more coffee stop at Cove Cafe before stepping off the ship again at Port Canaveral, and man was it a sad morning 😭

As we were leaving the ship, we saw the Christmas decorations getting loaded on to start decorating before the first Very Merrytime cruise departing later the same day!

Before heading home, we stopped at Walt Disney World for a round of mini golf ⛳️

I dare you to find ANYTHING that makes me smile bigger than seeing Mickey, but it was so sad saying see ya real soon to him!

Next cruise… when will it be? Guess we’ll all have to wait and see 😉

🚢 On day four of my Disney cruise, we enjoyed a day at sea exploring everything onboard! 🚢

Our day at sea was the perfect mix of activity and relaxation, we really did a bit of everything! We grabbed our first coffee of the trip from Cove Cafe, located in the adults-only area of the ship. The caramel hazelnut mocha was AMAZING and how cool that they stamp a Disney character on the foam?!

We did some exploring around the ship on decks we hadn’t visited yet, and we found the infamous Pepe’s stateroom located near the kids’ clubs on Deck 5.

Next was bingo, and we all got close to winning- but not close enough! There is BIG money available, which I would’ve loved to put towards my next cruise 😂

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Jack-Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash, where crawling babies raced to their parent situated at the finish line 👶🏻

Next was a quick porthole bench break while we waited for the animation experience where we learned to draw Pluto! I’ve now learned to draw at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line. It’s so much fun!

We just had to hit the pool deck next so grabbed some pizza from Flo’s V8 Cafe and then rode the AquaDuck! Such a fun water slide, especially going over the edge of the ship!

We couldn’t end our vacation without a craft, so we decorated anchors. Of course, mine is Mickey themed 🐭

Tonight’s Broadway-style show was no doubt my favorite. Disney Believe left me teary eyed! I loved seeing so many of my favorite Disney characters in one show, and the storyline was just perfect. I can’t wait to see this show again someday!

To our surprise, the life size gingerbread house was unveiled as we exited the theater! For anyone who has seen the gingerbread displays at Walt Disney World, you’re in for a real treat with this one! There was even a fireplace inside. And the smell it brought to the atrium 😍

Per usual, we hit The Tube for 2000s music trivia with friends before dinner, and I was thrilled that Lady Gaga was first on the list!

We ate dinner at Animator’s Palate, and it was so interactive and unique! It reminded me a lot of Turtle Talk with Crush, so it was dinner with a show! My appetizer here might’ve been my favorite food all cruise 🤤

We ended the night with the See Ya Real Soon show, so we got to see all the characters; most importantly… Captain Mickey and Minnie!

Tomorrow is a sad day when we arrived back at Port Canaveral and had to disembark. I booked my placeholder for my next Disney cruise before our day at sea ended!

🌊 On day three of my Disney cruise, we visited Disney Lookout Cay in The Bahamas! 🌊

Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is located on the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas, and that water is more turquoise than the pictures could even pick up! 😍 This private destination just opened less than six months ago, and Disney did such an incredible job keeping true to Bahamian culture.

Upon arriving on the island, we took the tram from the end of the pier to the Goombay Tram Stop. This destination is also home to the adults-only beach, Serenity Bay, like Castaway Cay has. I grabbed my chair and a book to sit by the water and enjoyed a relaxing day!

We spent the entire day on the adults-only beach so had lunch at Serenity Bay BBQ, which had a more diverse selection of food compared to yesterday and live music! 🎹

To close out our day on the island, we stopped by the Goombay Cultural Center to watch RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration. It was so cool to see the Bahamian culture come alive alongside Mickey and Minnie, of course.

Before heading back to the ship, we had to pick up another smoothie because yesterday’s was a hit! Pineapples were the cup of choice 🍍

We boarded the Disney Fantasy once again and were in for quite the adventure tonight… Pirate Night!

We dressed up in our best pirate attire for the evening’s festivities 🏴‍☠️

Tonight’s show before dinner was Mickey’s Pirates in the Caribbean, which took place outside on the family pool deck. We enjoyed watching from the deck above for a better view!

After a pirate-themed dinner at Royal Court, we headed back out to the pool deck for the most exciting show of the night, Buccaneer Blast. This is the only time you’ll get to experience FIREWORKS AT SEA! How cool is that?! 🎆

Our late night activity was Club Pirate, which took place outside on the pool deck immediately following the fireworks. We danced and sang the night away with fellow Magical Travel friends!

Tomorrow is a day at sea, which was much needed to sleep in a bit and check out every activity we had time for onboard!

🏝️ On day two of my Disney cruise, we visited Disney Castaway Cay in The Bahamas! 🏝️

This private island was everything I dreamed of and more! I loved how it could be as tranquil or active of a day as you wanted. And we did both!

We were docked from 8:30am-4:45pm at Castaway Cay, and we got our start early after a buffet breakfast at Cabanas!

Upon arriving on the private island, we took the tram to the adults-only beach, Serenity Bay. No doubt my most favorite beach I’ve ever been to (and I’m SUCH a huge beach girl!). The water was crystal clear, warm yet refreshing, and there were lots of shells to find 🐚

We wanted to explore more of the island early in the day before it got too hot, so we rented bicycles! We took them back on nature trails, to the lookout tower, and even to the family beach to get a great view of the ship.

After all our bike riding, it was time for a smoothie break. What better way to drink a smoothie in The Bahamas than from a coconut? 🥥

We biked back to the adults-only beach to have lunch at Serenity Bay BBQ, which had the perfect selection of beach day food!

To close out our day on the island, we couldn’t leave without snorkeling! It was so cool to see the attention to detail Disney creates even below the surface because we saw some familiar Disney faces underwater!

Before heading back to the ship, I couldn’t resist hopping on one of the water slides on Castaway Cay Barge. The pro tip here is that the line isn’t long with kids towards the end of the day 😉

We boarded the Disney Fantasy once again and watched the sunset from the adults-only pool deck, and boy was it beautiful at sea 😍

Tonight’s show before dinner was Frozen, and once again I was amazed! This is another Disney on Broadway show that I have seen, and it was equally as impressive on DCL.

We met up with some fellow Magical Travel friends for 80s music trivia in the adults-only lounge before heading to dinner at Royal Court! The Disney Princess details were stunning; this just may be my favorite main dining room.

Late night activities for us included the majority rules game show, as well as the match your mate game show. I have never laughed so hard! Disney after dark in the adults-only lounge is something that cannot be missed 🤪

Another big day tomorrow for day three, where we visited Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point… Disney’s new private destination that opened this past June!

✨ Let’s recap my 4-night Disney cruise from Port Canaveral to The Bahamas! Here’s day one… ✨

We boarded the Disney Fantasy around 12:45pm, and it was such a smooth, quick process!

First stop was exploring as much of the ship as we could, and going through the DCL Navigator app to favorite must-do activities both onboard and at our ports of call.

We enjoyed a buffet lunch at Cabanas before heading up to Deck 8 to enter our stateroom for the first time! 😍 Room tour reel to come!

The Sail Away Party up on the family pool deck was a highlight of this day for me, and hearing the Disney tunes for the ship’s horn was simply magical 🥹

Since we chose second dining at 8:15pm for dinner each night, we got to start off each evening with a show! Night one’s was Aladdin, and I was SO impressed by what they can accomplish at sea… and I’ve seen Aladdin on Broadway in NYC twice!

Dinner was at Enchanted Garden, and seeing the lighting inside change from day to night was so pretty. The flowers bloomed above us as the sky changed colors. This restaurant reminded me a lot of The Crystal Palace mixed with Tony’s Town Square at Magic Kingdom!

Late night activities for us included watching a family game show themed to Inside Out and then adults-only silent DJ party!

We returned to our stateroom with chocolates awaiting us from turndown service before calling it a night. Big day on day two… visiting private island, Disney Castaway Cay!

🚢 I sail away tomorrow aboard the Disney Fantasy to The Bahamas! Follow my stories! 🚢

Tomorrow afternoon, I leave for Port Canaveral! I’ll be visiting Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, along with enjoying a day at sea amongst many of my fellow Magical Travel colleagues 🤩
