Many travelers are experiencing unprecedented trip disruptions and delays this summer. To avoid unneccessary headaches

* Schedule ample connection time for all flights. A minimum layover of 3 hours for international flights is optimal.
* Choose mainline carriers whenever possible as economy airlines tend to be less reliable.
* Review airline policies and hold them accountable related to trip cancelations, delays and disruptions.
* Avoid the basic, economy ticket categories that do not provide any options for schedule disruptions.
* Enjoy the journey even in the midst of unexpected disruptions. God providentially knows all!

"Mission trips are becoming less about the completion of a task, or the counting of hands raised during an altar call, and more about the relationships developed with hosting communities. We can also experience the cultural and spiritual exchange that happens when we submit to learn from one another.

But as the pendulum swings, many are left wondering if what they are doing is still “missions,” or is it just a spiritual exchange program? Is it “missions” or simply a discipleship program—an expensive summer camp in another country?"

If you are traveling and have recently recovered from COVID-19, you can instead show a positive viral test collected no more than 90 days before the flight and a letter from a licensed health care provider or public health official stating that the passenger has been cleared for travel.
