Zion Travel Foundation

Zion Travel Foundation Zion Travel Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) public charity, organized and operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.

One hundred percent of our Funds come from donors. Zion Travel Foundation is inspired and driven by the concern and growing need for educational travel offered to underprivileged students not only to see the world, learn history, observe other cultures and lifestyles but to enlighten their eyes, minds hearts, spirit, to improve self awareness, and to become leaders who
bring positive change for th

ose around them. The heart of Zion Travel Foundation remains the one-to-one connection made through child sponsorship. Our work began in 2003 with an effort to sponsor students who had shown an interest in geography and curiosity to see other students around the world. These journeys were funded by individuals in America who made contributions to our cause. This approach continues today. What began as a modest effort to offer educational travel to students has evolved into a 501 (c) (3) Organization. Our area of excellence and great strength is our deep knowledge of global travel destinations, understanding of children's experiences of, exclusion and vulnerability, and our dedication to placing those experiences at the center of our policy and practice. We offer travel destinations all over the world, working with companies whose focus is educational travel for students and their family members and or chaperone, regardless of race, creed or gender. Our distinctive approach focuses on working with children throughout their journey from students to young adulthood, and with local organizations and communities to create the environments children need to thrive.

WEDNESDAY WISDOM 24MAY23 “LEARNING TO WAIT”

“After fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem … and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of reputation, lest … I might run, or had run, in vain.”—Galatians 2:1–2

The Bible is filled with the fruit of Paul’s ministry—his sermons and letters, his travels, and the churches he founded. But we must not forget the years he spent waiting when it might have seemed he wasn’t doing anything. He knew God had called him for ministry, but instead of being sent directly into the mission field, he received revelations from Jesus Himself of the Gospel for three years (Galatians 1:18). Then came a revelation. God spoke and pointed him toward Jerusalem. His ministry flourished because he waited for God to open the door at the right time, and he was obedient.

We must also wait at times. We may need to wait for the fulfillment of a dream or for a door to open. Even in times of waiting, we should continue being faithful to do the things He has given us. We need to be ready for Him to speak with further directions in His time and His way.

Ask God to help you be a faithful servant. Always do what He has called you to do. Be a good steward of the resources you have been given, always ready, always faithful, always trustworthy, and always available. If that means waiting, do not give up hope. Instead, remain faithful. Commit your way to Him and seek to be sensitive to His leadership, confident that He will bless and direct you at just the right time. “Wait I say on the Lord” TELL A FRIEND….REMEMBER LOST LIVES MATTER.

Prayer
Father, I believe You have a plan for my life and You will guide me. Help me to be faithful to Your call. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
