11/18/24. Certainly one of the weirdest nights we’ve experienced in a while. When we entered the group was silent and we heard what sounded like a party on the floor above us. This surprised me, because I knew we had the building to ourselves. When I went upstairs to check, the sounds all stopped at once. The place was empty…
As the night went on, many people jumped and screamed as they felt someone grab their shoulders. Typical for the club. But when we entered the ballroom, all of the lights turned on by themselves. They are on different fuses, so someone (or something) had to turn them on.
Finally, after the tour I went back to the club to make sure it was locked up. Before I left, I took one more look around.
I saw a small figure. It realized I saw it, ducked its head and ran away. When I said, “Buenos noches y gracias.” I heard someone say, “No me olvídes.”
People wonder why we offer this tour 7-nights a week when most other companies don’t. It’s because for us, it’s not about the money. It’s about the connections we make with the spirits who built this wonderful city… and who love it so much they don’t leave.
