Last week I attended an on-site training at Walt Disney World with a bunch of other travel agents with Fairytale Journeys. We were led by some of the best in the biz, and I learned SO MUCH! 🤓📝 This was an amazing opportunity to completely immerse ourselves in the Disney travel world 🏰 and I’m so excited to share it all with you in the coming months! 🤗

❤️ I can’t wait to grow my travel business even more this year, and I’m so grateful for friends and clients like YOU who have helped make this possible for me!

💰Budget is generally the most important part of planning a vacation. As a Travel Advisor, my job is to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck all while staying within your requested budget.

It is important to know that you CAN do Disney on a BUDGET! I know Disney price tags can be scary! There are ways to make sure you have a magical vacation, all while staying within a certain price point.

Here are some helpful tips!

1. Stay in a Value resort! Disney has 5 value resorts on property that include standard rooms all the way up to family suites. Their modest per night pricing allows families to enjoy their Disney Vacation without the stress of over spending.
2. No one said you have to eat Disney food! Pack snacks and lunches! Use apps like Instacart to have food delivered to your room. This will most definitely save you a good amount of money throughout your stay..even if its just for 1 meal per day!
3. All Disney resorts have fantastic pools and fun for everyone entertainment! Spend some of your vacation soaking up the sun poolside, and experiencing what your resort has to offer.
4. Disney gift cards can be purchased at a discounted rate at places like Target (with a red card), Sams Club, and BJ's. Snag these deals for your spending money! Or, even to pay into your trip.
5. Hopper tickets are great but more expensive. Base tickets are just as wonderful! Spend your entire day enjoying what 1 park has to offer.
6. Check your local stores for Disney Park items like bubble wands and Minnie ears. Purchasing these items in the park can be very costly, especially with multiple children. Buy this stuff ahead of time, and pack it in your suitcase.

Remember, Disney is magical no matter how much your trip costs you!! ✨

They say everything happens for a reason. I feel it’s a fair question to ask, “WHAT is the reason?!” You sit on it for hours. Days. Weeks. Months. And even a year later you may not get the answer. It HURTS. Your life can change overnight. Everything you have can be violently taken from you. You sit back and wonder “HOW did this happen? What did I do to deserve this???”
But there are 3 things I have taken from this.
1. God will not put me through something I can’t handle.
2. It’s okay to not be okay.
3. Just keep moving forward.

Character dining news‼️

🍎 Story Book Dining at Artist Point will reopen Dec. 16 at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! 🍎

From Disney Parks Blog: “As part of our new Character Dining experience, all guests will see Snow White, D***y, Grumpy, and The Queen stroll through the Enchanted Forest while enjoying a bountiful prix fixe dinner with the choice of individually plated entrées and shared starters and desserts.”

Reservations can be made beginning Dec. 2.

Also reopening is Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside on Dec. 14! Reservations can be made beginning Dec. 2.

Lots of changes announced and coming to Walt Disney World! Here's a recap of the most recent:

🥳 'Ohana reopens July 9th to guests, featuring an all you can eat breakfast and dinner, served Family Style!

🥳 Boo Bash has added additional dates to the lineup: Sept 5, 12, and 19, as well as Oct 10 and 17

🥳Bus Transportation is bringing down the dividers and allowing people to stand!

🥳Animal Kingdom Lodge will begin welcoming guests August 26! Right now, just the DVC side, Kidani, has been operating. Jambo will be now accepting reservations!

🥳 FIREWORKS RETURN JULY 1!!!

🥳Masks are only required now for unvaccinated guests everywhere, and for everyone while riding any type of Disney transportation.

🎆 At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, July 1 marks the start of nightly fireworks performances at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT.
🎆”Happily Ever After” will transform Cinderella Castle with lights, projections and pyrotechnics, as moments from favorite Disney stories encourage Guests to grab hold of their dreams and make them come true.
🎆And as part of the ongoing transformation of EPCOT, “EPCOT Forever” will produce a spectacle of fireworks, music and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon, highlighting the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination and celebration at the core of the park’s past, present and future.
