Bar Harbor, Maine has become my go-to place over and over again—and it never disappoints. From the breathtaking coastal views and serene forests to the quaint charm of the town, it’s the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Every morning, I woke up to the cozy comfort of a charming bed and breakfast, complete with a custom-made breakfast to start my day, before heading out to explore. Days were spent sailing the bay, soaking in the beauty of the coastline, and of course, indulging in those unforgettable lobster rolls. I also couldn’t resist the iconic Maine blueberries—whether in a slice of blueberry pie, a refreshing drink, or creamy ice cream, they’re a must-try treat. My stay was in the coziest little inn, where comfort met character in the best way. Whether I was hiking through Acadia or wandering the town’s shops, this place offers the perfect balance of peaceful moments and local exploration. Vacation Like Jackie O

In June of 2024, I found myself on the magical isle of Capri. I had a week to explore and was determined to see if the Italian paradise met my very high expectations; expectations that I like to think differ from most as I’m constantly evaluating my surroundings for you - my clients!

It didn’t take very long for me to see that Capri is truly a gem and although it’s often lumped into most Amalfi Coast trips, I soon realized that Capri was in a category of its own. Staying in a villa overlooking the Piazzetta and The Gardens of Augustus, I was encased in fairytale-like natural beauty everywhere I looked.

Each day was a blur of sun, exquisite Italian design, color, and sophistication. My highlight was the morning I spent walking the Via Krupp down to Marina Piccola - it was unlike anything I’d ever seen! I stumbled upon private beach clubs nestled into quiet coves and water that was so blue I needed my sunglasses. Birds sang in the orange trees above me that were thick with fruit and the cooling breeze coming off the bay of Naples kept me perfectly comfortable as I rounded each turn. At the end of my journey, I waded into the soft water of Marina di Mulo and made a mental note to remember every detail of the hours I’d just spent exploring the secrets of Capri.

Although that day was my favorite, the others weren’t far behind. It was those experiences that turned me into a Capri enthusiast and I understood why Jackie O, formerly Kennedy, found such sanctuary on the island. If Capri is on your radar, great! If it isn’t, let’s fix that ;)
