To ensure safe and convenient access along Donnelly Street while the boardwalk is closed for replacement, City Council recently approved a temporary sidewalk construction plan. Here's what you need to know:

✅ Temporary Sidewalk: A mid-block crosswalk will be added to improve pedestrian flow and accessibility during this period.

✅ Safe Crossing: To make the temporary crosswalk even safer, an enhanced pedestrian crossing will be installed across Donnelly Street, encouraging drivers to slow down and be extra mindful of pedestrians.

✅ Timeline: Work is scheduled to begin this week and is anticipated to take approximately three weeks to complete.

✅ Safety First: At Council's request, the Mount Dora Police Department will be closely monitoring the area to enforce safe speeds and ensure drivers comply with the temporary changes.
