Every Summer, at The Gospel Hour, we honor the Summer Tent Meetings held by Dr. Greene and remember his passing to his Heavenly Father on July 26, 1976. God continues to use him, and each year, thousands of people find Christ as their Savior and are encouraged through his recorded sermons and writings. This is also a reminder of how thankful we are for our faithful supporters who help us continue this ministry and fulfill Dr. Greene's hope that it continues until the Lord's return. We appreciate your prayers and support as we share the hope of Christ with a hurting world during these troubled End Times.

We hope you will enjoy seeing the picture below of Dr. Greene (to the right of the center) baptizing in a river, some of the precious souls saved during a summer Tent Revival Meeting. Thank you for helping us to continue reaching souls with the good news and saving grace of the Gospel.

"Dear Lord,
Thank you for my father. Please bless him with health, happiness, and strength. Bless him with your wisdom and guidance. Help him to feel your presence and love every day. Bless him for the sacrifices he makes for our family. Fill his heart with joy and peace. Protect him and keep him safe. Surround him with your love and grace. Lord, I am grateful for the love and support of my father. Please abundantly bless him today and always.

Join us today as we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Greene, who was born on this special day, Valentine's Day. In addition to his preaching, Dr. Greene had a great passion for the power of good Gospel music in encouraging believers and reaching out to the lost with the good news of the Gospel. The picture below was believed to have been taken around 1950 and features the musicians of the Gospel Hour tent meetings. Dr. Greene can be seen in the center-left holding a saxophone. There is Power In The Blood, Power in The Incorruptible Word of God!
"Salvation is received by faith—not accepted through man’s wisdom nor his ability to understand God’s salvation. We are covered with a covering that cannot corrupt. I have nothing against education, that is Christian education. Still, when it comes to the preaching of the Word of God, a sermon coming from the lips of some Ph. D. who has not yet received his B. A. (Born Again) degree from heaven, is as empty as last year’s bird’s nest, and as dry as the Sahara Desert! NO! I am not judging, I am inspecting fruit, and I have a license from heaven to inspect fruit. “By their fruits, ye shall know them.” Mt. 7:20

Trusting Jesus, That Is All (Quote by Dr. Greene)
You have heard that “You’ve gotta live your religion every day.” Well, it is true in a sense. If it is your religion that you have—YOU will have to live it every day, but if it is CHRISTIANITY you have—Christianity lives you. You don’t live Christianity, Christianity is somebody—that is Christ, and if you are a Christian, Christ lives in your heart. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Rm. 8:9 “ . . . Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Col. 1:27b Stop trying and start trusting and you will get along much better!
