We’re excited to announce Matt Steen as our new Program Director! With over 25 years of experience in the ski industry, including 11 with Helitrax, Matt brings extensive expertise in terrain management, customer experience, snow safety, and operations.

As Matt steps into this role, we’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to Joe Shults for his 20+ years of dedication to Helitrax. Joe’s commitment and leadership have been instrumental in guiding our organization to new heights. Telluride Helitrax is excited to announce the launch of our newest experience, a heli-accessed ski touring camp uniquely positioned in our terrain just outside of Telluride. This new offering consists of a morning helicopter flight into camp, two days of guided backcountry skiing, one night under the stars in heated tents, chef-prepared meals, all the fundamentals needed for a comfortable evening at camp, and a helicopter ride out the second afternoon.
