Hello wine country friends.

Hope everyone is having a nice summer and staying cool.

We unfortunately have had issues with Airbnb policy not abiding by “Air Cover” protection for owners. This as a result of guests not following house rules and reporting false claims of our property not “listed properly.”

Airbnb falsely claims that our guests had documented their issues for check in and listing errors yet failed to provide this documentation to us as part of issue resolution. This violates their own “Air Cover” policy intended to protect guests as well as owners.

As such we have taken the steps to block further reservations on the Airbnb platform through 2025. We encourage anyone interested to stay at our seasonal rental to book on VRBO (you can find that reservation link in the info section on this page).

We are very sorry if this causes any inconvenience.

Update on the farm bee 🐝 project. Dan says the yield is surprisingly good for only a few months. So he is taking a sample to ensure quality (e.g. I’m going to take some home eat it and make sure it’s not poisonous).
