Through the brief breaks in the clouds tonight, I was able to capture a couple of images with my phone through my Mak-Cass telescope of the and and her moons. Both were incredibly bright, so I used a 90% Moon filter. To get a little closer to Jupiter, I used a 2x Barlow lens as well - not too bad considering Jupiter is about 443 million miles from Earth and the light from it takes almost 40 minutes to get here! I tried taking a picture of Saturn but it was just too darn bright to see the rings. Saturn was still spectacular through the lens and I can't recommend enough coming out to see it for yourself!
