CARNIVAL Cruise Line Update HURRICANE DEBBY



Weather Update – August 5, 2024 | 2:00 PM (ET)



Our Fleet Operations Center in Miami continues to actively monitor Hurricane Debby, which made landfall in northern Florida this morning. The safety of our guests and crew is our priority and our ships will always maintain a safe distance from the storm. The following homeports and ships are currently under watch:



JACKSONVILLE – The port is currently closed.

Carnival Elation 08/01/2024 (returned Sunday, August 08/04/2024, instead of Monday, August 05, 2024) – The ship returned to Jacksonville earlier than scheduled to stay ahead of the storm.

Carnival Elation 08/05/2024 (departed Sunday, August 08/04/2024) – The ship is now sailing according to its scheduled itinerary.


PORT OF TAMPA – The port is currently closed to marine traffic.

Carnival Paradise 08/01/2024 – The ship is now expected to return to port tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Carnival Paradise 08/05/2024 (now set to depart Tuesday, August 6, 2024) – The cruise will now operate as a 5-day voyage, visiting Belize and Cozumel. Guests who sail will receive:
A one-day, pro-rated refund for cruise fare, gratuities, beverage, and WiFi purchases.
US$100, per stateroom, onboard credit.
Up to US$200, per person, for expenses associated with independent, non-refundable air costs/change fees. Submit a copy of original airline tickets and newly purchased tickets/change fee receipt with names of all persons traveling to [email protected]. Air changes for Carnival’s FLY2FUN will be communicated directly to impacted guests.
For embarkation Tuesday, August 6, 2024, guests should arrive for check-in according to their pre-selected terminal arrival appointments. All guests must be at the cruise terminal for check-in no later than 2:30 PM.

Guests who are unable to sail should call our Guest Services Department at 1-800-CARNIVAL, their Personal Vacation Planner, or their travel advisor by 6:00 PM, today, Monday, August 5, 2024. We will provide a 100% future cruise credit (FCC) for your cruise fare and a full refund for any pre-purchased items for this voyage.*
