❄️ After a fresh snowfall is when the fun REALLY starts! ❄️
Over the weekend our snow crew bundled up and tackled clearing all the hard surfaces, ensuring the Terre Haute Regional Airport was open and safe for those visiting us.

It is hard work to do what these guys do and we are beyond grateful for each and every one of them!

SHOUTOUT TO OUR AMAZING SNOW TEAM! 🌟

If you haven't heard, the Terre Haute, IN area received a LARGE gift from the snow fairy on Sunday and into Monday. Our dedicated employees have been working tirelessly day and night to keep our airport safe and free of snow. We are so grateful for the hard work, determination, and commitment of these guys!

SAFETY, it's our number ONE priority! Let us show you how we became a safer airport!

In 2024 KHUF received a federal grant to regrade our Runway Safety Area (RSA) along Runway 5/23. These funds allowed us to help ensure the safety of aircraft that undershoot, overrun, or veer off the runway as well as providing a greater level of accessibility for rescue equipment should such an incident occur.
We take our responsibility to provide RSAs that are cleared and graded very seriously, and we work tirelessly to ensure there are no potentially hazardous ruts, humps, depressions, or other surface variations.

As we close out this year and this project, it's with much excitement that we can say KHUF is an even safer place to fly.
