This post is for our excursions we did on our cruise.
The ports we stopped at were: Costa Maya, Mahogany Bay, and Cozumel.
In Costa Maya, we didn’t do an excursion because we didn’t get into port until 2pm and were leaving at 8pm. The port though has a wonderful Aviary (and we love animals) so we did that and saw all kinds of birds and got some great views of the port.
In Mahogany Bay we went to Maya Key, which is a small island that houses an animal sanctuary (again we love animals). They have animal encounters which Zoe and I greatly enjoyed, plus a jaguar, puma, sloth, crocodile, and many more animals that come into the sanctuary either as illegal pets, sick, injured, etc. Then the girls and I went snorkeling which was so much fun. Zoe saw an octopus, Hailey and I held a spiny sea Star, we all saw a puffer fish, and lots of angel fish, damsel fish and many more I don’t know the names of :).
In Cozumel we were going to do a tour but Eric got sick so we just stayed on the ship but not before walking around port and getting a picture of the ships in port (Carnival Liberty, our Regal Princess, and Sky Princess).

We are sailing on Regal Princess this week out of Galveston for my birthday cruise!
I do love desserts so here are some pictures (that I remembered to take) of some that we’ve had so far.
Zoe has been very pleased with the selection of gluten free options on this cruise. She was even able to get a gluten free donut from the International Cafe yesterday (they have a great selection of sweets and sandwiches that are included in your cruise fare). For breakfast in the restaurant they always have available gluten free French toast (she said was delicious) and gluten free pancakes so we don’t have to pre-order breakfast.
In the Horizon Court buffet they also have clearly marked options for not only gluten free but also vegan.
Stay tuned for more updates (and food pictures) of our trip!
