They are both fossil enthusiasts and fell in love with the town, the hot mineral springs and the surrounding area. In the spring of 2016 Leslie purchased 8 acres just north of Thermopolis on Kirby Creek a tributary of the Bighorn River. Building the cabin would not have been possible without the property manager Pam in place to do all the running, cleaning, repairs and maintenance on the property. Leslie hopes to retire to the cabins in 6 to 8 years.
