Day 5 of Our Camino, “Our Way “ was a washout! Woke up to a driving rain storm. Decided to spend the day in Oloron-St Marie. Arrived in Sarrance France in the late afternoon to the pilgrims hostel at the 13th century monastery of St Norbert. Attended Vespers; dinner with the other pilgrims from Holland and France, then off to bed. Buen Camino!!

Day 4 of our Camino from Arudy to Oloron-St. Marie, France.It was a great walk today, then we met up with some Pilgrim friends that we met yesterday, a Dutchman 🇳🇱 and an Italian Priest! They cooked us a FABULOUS dinner of Pasta with Tuna fish and vegetables, bread and wine! Great conversation,friendship and advice for us new pilgrims!

While having lunch at this very nice and cozy restaurant in Arudy, France we noticed a table that spoke English and as we left we stopped to talk with them….and can you believe that the lady on the left with the colorful shirt, (Ann Bergeron )her Grandparents had a farm in St. Charles community and she would spend many summers there and Thibodaux! She and her wife and son live in another town nearby Restaurant ACaso, where we were eating and love the Foie Gras! It was so nice to meet them! What a small world! 😊
