Tifton is business meetings and conventions meeting at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center, seating 2,500 for concerts and 1,000 for delicious meals, plus 15 meeting rooms with free parking and a full event planning staff. Tifton is museums, eight ready for your discovery - The Georgia Agrirama Living History Farm and Village, the National Peanut Museum, the Tifton Terminal Railroad Museum, the Georgia Museum of Agriculture, The Museum of Arts and Heritage, the Atlantic Coastline Artists Guild, CarQuest Museum and a telephone museum. Look for the monument to U.S. President Eisenhower declaring Tifton the site of the first construction of the U.S. Interstate System in 1956.
Tifton is sports and sporting facilities, including a sanctioned aquatic center, an updated football stadium as a professional practice field, 8 football and soccer fields, 8 softball and baseball fields, 15 tennis courts, bowling alley, and two public championship golf courses.
