The Vintage Mountain Villa has been such a special place for me and for all my guests! It’s a bittersweet moment, as I announce that it has sold and will no longer be a vacation rental. Be sure to visit the town of Dahlonega while staying at the Vintage Mountain Villa. This so the home of the Consolidated Gold Mine. It’s just a 1 hour drive.

People who live in Dahlonega are hesitant to throw the word “magical” around when describing their town—they don’t want to sound trite. But the thesaurus is low on synonyms for a singular word that captures this tucked-away gem in the North Georgia mountains.

One of the reasons I love to visit Rabun County, is that it’s easy to get to many of the beautiful sights. Black Rock Mountain State Park is a perfect example. You just drive up the mountain and step out of your car to see this incredible view! Much of the beauty here is accessible to anyone and doesn’t require a hike to get to it.
