The cabin and its neighbor cabins were part of the Emery Family since the early 1960's. My in-laws owned it and when they passed it passed on to their children. I just recently purchased this cabin from my in-laws since they decided they were selling off 7 cottages as condo units. It is an awesome place with beautiful views and relaxing afternoons. My children spent a large part of their summers
here and would be crushed if they had to give it up totally...and me too! I am renting out the cabin for 8 weeks of the summer - I hope you will consider the cabin as a vacation spot. We'd love to have you stay and experience the joy we have for the last 35 years. Below is a brief description of our offering! This 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths , the cabin comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests. You'll cherish the easy access to endless outdoor activities, as the property sits on 9-acres of land, your group will have plenty of exploring to do! This is a house keeping cottage and we do not supply sheets or towels please bring your own. We supply the other bedding such as blankets, pillows and quilts. We supply starter supplies such as a few rolls of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags. Amenities include:
Extra large living room with pull out couch
Large eat in kitchen area with full size stove and refrigerator
2 bath rooms both have showers only
Large screened in porch with a large picnic table and a great view of the water
Charcoal grill for outside cooking
Two bed rooms that have double beds
One bedroom has two full twin beds and two trundle beds
Full use of the beach area, the dock and the raft
Boat docking slip is included and it is based on scheduling availability. There are 4 boating slips on our dock and they are shared among 8 cabins, so first come first served! Outside fire pit for camp fires in the evening
Other Rental Information
The cottage sits on 9 acres of shared community property with the other condominium cottages. Since it is community property it is important to be respectful of others' privacy, property and their right to enjoy a restful vacation as well.
