We are so excited to announce we are adding a new restaurant to our group, The Native Bar & Grill !

The Native will incorporate food that is inspired from around Florida. Using locally sourced ingredients when possible. As Florida natives, we took all of the things that mean Florida to us and put them in one place. The Native features a full bar and Dave's Original Orange Julius. Some items you will find on the menu will be fried gator tail, steaks, pastas, wild-caught fried shrimp, fresh local fish, Lums beer-boiled hot dogs, Bagel World's macaroni salad, banana pudding and much more. You will be welcomed with our house-boiled peanuts. We will be located in Titus Landings and opening in early summer 2025. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.

❤️✨ Happy Valentine’s Day from Past and Presence! ✨❤️

Love is in the air… but did you know Valentine’s Day has a mysterious and slightly spooky past? 👀💘

The holiday is believed to have originated from the ancient Roman festival Lupercalia, a celebration of fertility, love, and (strangely enough) warding off evil spirits! 🏛️🐺 Priests known as Luperci would perform rituals to bless couples with luck in love—and yes, some of these customs were quite unusual!

Later, legends tell of St. Valentine, who defied Emperor Claudius II by secretly marrying couples when marriage was outlawed. He was eventually executed on February 14th, but his name lived on, becoming forever tied to romance. 💌💀

So whether you're celebrating love, friendship, or just indulging in chocolates, we’re sending you all the spooky-sweet vibes! 💕

🌫️👻 Foggy Frights & Trivia Tuesday! 👻🌫️

Titusville is wrapped in a thick, eerie fog tonight, making it feel like we’ve stepped straight into a ghost story! But did you know fog has long been associated with the supernatural?

🌫️ In folklore, fog is believed to be a veil between worlds, allowing spirits to roam freely. Could the ghosts of Titusville be wandering among us tonight? 👀

🚢 The infamous Flying Dutchman, a ghost ship doomed to sail forever, is said to appear only in thick fog—perhaps something similar lurks along the Indian River!

💀 In 1952, London’s Great Smog was so dense that people claimed to see shadowy figures moving within it… but were they real, or something more sinister?

While you ponder the mystery of the mist, test your fog knowledge with Trivia Tuesday! Can you guess the correct answer? Drop your guess in the comments! ⬇️

🌿🐿️ Shadowy Predictions & Historic Superstitions! 🐿️🌿

Yesterday was Groundhog Day, and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow—which sent him running back to his burrow faster than a ghost at midnight! 👀👻 That means we’re in for six more weeks of winter! ❄️ But where did this quirky tradition come from?

Groundhog Day has its roots in an old European celebration called Candlemas, a Christian holiday where clergy would bless candles and distribute them for winter. Folklore held that if the weather was fair on Candlemas, winter would last longer—a belief carried to America by German settlers in Pennsylvania. Instead of relying on weather alone, they turned to the groundhog, believing that if it saw its shadow on February 2nd, more cold days were ahead.

🌙 A Haunting Connection? 🌙
In the past, Groundhog Day was also tied to superstitions about spirits and the changing of seasons. Some believed that the veil between worlds was thin on this day, much like Halloween, and that restless spirits might wander until spring thawed the frozen ground. Could that explain some of the eerie encounters reported near old towns and graveyards? We’ll let you decide… 👀👻

Do you think Phil was scared of his shadow… or just scared of six more weeks of winter? Drop your thoughts below! ⬇️
