Had a wonderful weekend at the Manor! Shower went very well and couldn't have asked for better weather to be outside. The house worked out so well for us to stay the night and spend more time with family. Thx again!

She listened to everything I wanted regarding the look and feel of the site and matched it with her amazing design skills! When you bring your dog to this new park in Ottawa, Ali will be there in spirit...running right alongside your pet!💞

THE PARK IS OPEN!

Signs are up, benches are in, water is on, and the grass is growing!

We have some additional signage for the entrance and the memorial plaques for the benches coming, a couple of waste stations to add yet, but Ali’s Dog Park is fully open. Please use and enjoy it!

Another shout out to the village maintenance guys, Don Croy/Croys Mowing, and Mike Petersen/PetersenWelding and Fabrication for your help!*

We are still contemplating a grand opening, and an eagle scout project this summer, so keep watching here for updates.

The genesis of this project was our unbearable loss, but creating the park in Ali’s honor has in some small ways helped. The love and support we have received from family, friends, and the community has helped a little bit more. We take our comfort where we can find it.

Our painted lady is looking very classy this Spring! Hanging baskets on the porch and fresh mulch added so much to her beauty. I planted poppies at the fence line today and can’t wait for them to bloom.

Next is landscape rock around the perimeter trees…beautiful back drop for graduation pics! We have May openings for any last minute gatherings or overnight guests.

It had been so long since we could get our family together (minus Jeremy and Jen) and the Manor had plenty of space inside and out for everyone! We set up tables on the lawn, and when it rained we easily moved into the garage. Thankful for the warmer weather and safe travels near and far.

We have been booked almost every weekend to start off the year! As May approaches, we have several openings including Mother’s Day weekend, so share with anyone who may need a gathering place or overnight stay for family and friends.

Thanks to all who came to learn how to make a fresh flower bouquet today just in time for Easter! We started with a little wine and tour of the Manor before Rhonda Wolke taught us some of her skills! Her choice of flowers was exquisite and not many you find in local florist shops. The is the first of many classes Rhonda will hold at the Manor. Stay tuned for a schedule of events

My childhood neighbor, Rebecca Krouse, is very talented! I love butterflies and this looks beautiful on my bookshelf at home. I will be getting some of her prints for the Manor soon too!
