What I see:
- Virtually no OB 3 middle block houses yet.
- Seacrest Beach just starting.
- No marina.
- No OB 3 boat basin yet.
- Is that an early view of the OB 3 clubhouse?
- I believe I see the old train station at the end of what would be West Amberjack Way.
- No south bound highway yet.

Free Ice Cream!

Ice Cream Plus (the new ice cream shop directly across the street from our Rental office) has let us know that they will be giving away free ice cream this Sunday from 5pm until 5:30pm.

Just about every week this summer, some poor renter calls us crying saying that they had their money stolen by an online scammer. They call us because they think we can help. They only realize they were scammed when they show up at the property ready for vacation and either the house is rented for real by someone else or the house isn't even a rental property. Do these people ever recover their money - no. They pay with Zelle or Venmo which leaves no option to get their money back. These properties are often listed on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

Today we received a call from someone who was being scammed about a year-round rental in Ocean Beach III. Luckily they called us before they paid.

The common thread for all the people that fall victim to this fraud? All the prices they are given are way too low. That lures them in to not using common sense.

A car key was turned in to our office yesterday. Found on the highway by Shell. If they are yours we will have them until Saturday. We will then bring them to the police.
