Having your documents ready to go makes the entire airport process much easier.

Pro tip: I use a crossbody bag to hold all of my documents, it makes them SUPER easy to access quickly without having to hold them or stuff my pockets!

Beneath the serene waters of Pearl Harbor lie stories of unimaginable courage and loss. Visiting the USS Arizona Memorial is incredibly humbling and awe-inspiring, inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave everything.

Let this beautiful historical site be a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom, and express our deepest respect and gratitude to those that have and still serve.

This one may seem redundant, but it's an easy thing to forget. And this doesn't just apply to prescriptions!

Some of my over-the-counter staples:
➡️Ibuprofen
➡️Tylenol
➡️Pepto
➡️Tums
➡️Dramamine

Along with fun vacations come things like walking a lot, eating a ton, getting plenty of sun, and for some the dreaded ailment of MOTION SICKNESS. While unavoidable, these things can definitely be prepared for!

➡️First and foremost, I'll ALWAYS suggest the photo packages for theme parks for this reason! ⬅️

It's not always easy to get your whole travel group in one shot, and selfies don't always cut it. Even in theme parks, there may not always be a photographer in the spot you want a photo! 📷

In my experience, fellow travelers are (for the most part) friendly and always willing to exchange taking photos! Some of my FAVORITE travel photos have been taken by friendly fellow travelers we found struggling to take the same photo we wanted to take. Help each other out! 😊

📍Freeport, Bahamas

Such an under-rated cruise port. It was BEAUTIFUL. The beaches were stunning, water crystal clear, and the people were so friendly.

We spent our time there exploring Lucaya Marketplace and Lucaya Beach 🌴☀️. Guys... there were FIVE other people on the entire stretch of beach we went to. FIVE. We literally had our own section of beach all to ourselves. For anyone going to this port, if you aren't planning on excursions, I highly recommend this area. 🏖

Happy Tuesday!

With sick season upon us, I want to share my tested tips to avoid getting sick before your trip. 😷

My personal method ⬇️
7-10 days before my trip, I start taking either Airborne or Emergen-C every night before bed. I aim to drink at LEAST 50-70 oz of water a day 🫗 (I know this may not sound like much for some but I am not a water drinker lol). Lastly, and I know it seems obvious, I am extra careful with sanitizing and hand washing. The sleep portion.... well, I do my best. 😆😴

It's time to start the countdown for our next big vacation!!! 😍🥳🤩

In ONE YEAR Kelsie and I will be headed to Florida to visit Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando! 🏰🎡

We do have some other smaller trips on the books but nothing quite compares to the excitement of putting a deposit on a Disney or Universal trip. 😁

Today's topic: souvenirs!

I don't know about you, but I LOVE souvenirs! Don't leave yourself strapped for space when trying to pack home all the goodies you bought on your trip.

My personal method: I always take a personal item and only pack a few things in it. A book, headphones, and a spare phone charger. That way, I have an almost empty bag to take things home in! 😍

TOMORROW IS THE DAY that I leave for my Margaritaville At Sea cruise! 🛳

I look forward to putting the "too good to be true" pricing to the ultimate test. Here is my opinion so far!

📞Customer service has been EXCELLENT. I've had to call a couple of times and they have been so friendly, so helpful, and quick to answer my questions and make changes. 10/10

📱I will say I am missing the convenience of having an app to manage my booking on. They utilize an online system called "Cruise Control" which is decently user friendly, but not even close in comparison with bigger name cruise lines. 5/10

🍹With it's namesake being Margaritaville, I was surprised to see the ship I am sailing on (the Paradise) does not have an unlimited alcohol package. They do have reasonably priced drink packages however, each containing a certain number of drink credits. 6/10

My FAVORITE piece of advice to offer travelers: DON'T OVERPLAN. While this advice applies to any vacation, today I am focusing on beach destinations. (You all know my mind is on the beach this last month.) ⛱🌴

There is an abundance of excursion options when it comes to beach vacations. Take into account how many days you will be there, and plan accordingly. Here's how I do it:
☀️Make a list of activities you want to do.
☀️Arrange them in order with favorites/bucket lists/must do's on top.
☀️No more than one scheduled half day excursion or two scheduled shorter activities in one day.
☀️Sleeping in is important for us, so we don't plan anything before 11:00 am.
☀️We try to leave one day open with no scheduled plans. That way we can be spontaneous or just relax without feeling like we HAVE to be somewhere at a certain time.

Scheduled excursions are a great thing... in moderation. You don't want every minute of every day planned out. Leave yourself some free time to explore and relax!

How to make Disney dining reservations! ⬇️ Character dining and specialty dining at the Disney parks are such a fun and unique experience, but first, you have to get a reservation. To DIY: 🗓 Reservations open for booking at 6:00 am (local time for whichever park you're booking at) 60 days before your park day, or 60 days before you check in if you're staying on site at a Disney Resort. ⏱Certain restaurants will fill up within SECONDS, so you have to know what you're looking for and be fast! 💳 My advice: be on the website ready to go about 15 minutes early. Make sure you are logged in and have your payment method saved to your account. If you are my client: 📱You'll receive a reminder text a few days before your dining reservations open. 💬 We will discuss options and details, I'll give my recommendations, and we will make decisions. 🧘‍♀️You sit back and relax, and I'll take care of the rest.
