Salty Paws at Golden Pointe

We spent almost a week at the beach house and we did a lot of work. Here's a list of what we've done.

1. Replaced the double bed in the second-floor bedroom with a queen-sized bed

2. Replaced the queen-sized beds on the first and third-floor bedrooms and the Master bedroom with new king-size beds and head pads

3. Bought new quilts for the new beds

4. Installed a shade in the second-floor window to help the kids sleep later

5. Replaced the fabric on the three bar stool chairs in the kitchen with new fabric

6. Rebuilt the trash compound

7. Rebuilt the wall in the driveway

8. New Landscaping

9. Deep cleaning and misc repairs

10. Purchased a new grille

11. Got rid of the old bicycles and other things cluttering the garage

We decided to go with them because they had a customer service and satisfaction focus, which we liked. We hope our new tenants will agree. We are looking forward to working with them.

After twelve years with A Beach Place Realty, we are switching to Landmark Vacation Rentals. We really hated to make this decision, but we felt this decision was in the best interest of our guests from a property management perspective. We know many repeat guests have stayed at Salty Paws at Golden Pointe over the years, and we want to keep them.

Once Landmark has our property listed and ready to accept reservations, we will let everyone know. It should be very soon. We've had one repeat Guest who sent us a letter with a specific reservation request that we will try to honor. We want to let everyone know that we are converting our Queen beds in the first, third, and Master bedrooms to king-size beds. We hope this will add more comfort for our Guests.

We will be starting another season soon and we already have many reservations for the summer. We've made repairs and upgrades over the winter to get ready.

We replaced the old carpet in the second-floor bedroom with laminate flooring and plan to replace one of the beds with bunk beds. We have another grandchild, five now, and we need space for. This adds another bed for all of our guests.

We also added marine-grade stainless steel cables between the porch rails. This was flagged as a safety concern during the inspection and we want to be safe.

We've had another very successful Summer season at Salty Paws. We hope all of our guests enjoyed their stay. We're planning a few updates to the updates for next year. We'll keep you posted.

Getting the house ready for what looks to be a great summer at the beach. If you’ve been stuck in the house all Winter with COVID, then head out to the beach this summer. Well be doing our deep-cleaning and making minor repairs in March. Go to the A Beach Topsail Beach Vacations and search for Ocean View, sleeps 12. Yeah, it’s a big house.
