We have had several people renew their reservations for 2025 but we do have the following dates open for booking: June 21-28, July 5-12, July 12-19, July 26-Aug 2, and Aug 9-16. Over the past month we have had a flurry of booking activity for spring which is unusual - last year at this time bookings were very soft. As a reminder, we are booking the cottage on a rolling 12-month basis which means that the calendar will open up on Facebook and VRBO for 2025 one year out. Right now for April and May of 2025 we only have two weeks left - April 26 thru May 3 and May 10 thru May 17. If you are considering a spring stay at The Tip-Sea Turtle I’d suggest thinking about booking soon.

Nice low Osprey flyover today.

Despite being cold and windy the ocean is fairly calm and the dolphins are coming up within about 20 yards of the waters edge right behind the shore break.

Hundreds of birds of all kinds directly in front of the cottage in the water and on the beach. Must be a huge school of fish out there.

File this in the “things I never thought I’d have to buy” file - 12 tons of slate!

This video is a little grainy but that is indeed a seal on the beach, just south of the cottage. That’s Queen’s Grant on the right and that large pipe on the beach is from the current beach renourishment project.
