Experience all four seasons in an elevated house within the trees on a heavily wooded, private, 5-acre parcel. As a family, we love living life to the fullest and making memories to last a lifetime. We’re always up for the next adventure - Snowshoeing, nature walks, cornhole, etc. - and it can all be found at our private secluded 5 acre vacation rental. We are passionate about our faith, living li

You & that tree 🌲 in your yard? You’re distant cousins. No joke! A long, long time ago (like, way back), you two went separate ways. But guess what? Even now, after so much time apart, you still have stuff in common. Yep, you share some of the same genes. Weird, right? This idea comes from a book 📕 called “The Overstory” by Richard Powers. It’s kinda neat to think about! Now, there’s another book that’s all about trees. It’s called “The Hidden Life of Trees” by Peter Wohlleben. This guy LOVES trees. He thinks they’re super special. He even says they can feel pain & remember things! Trees are like us in some ways. They live in families & talk to each other. Cool, huh? And get this - trees help each other out.
